Here I am sitting on chair and continuously typing on laptop but my mind filled with thoughts of past events and top of that I try my best to ignore Dhruv. I don't know how to tell him that I am married.
"Buttercuppp are ok" Dhruv Dhruv slowly which is audible to us.
"Yaa I am OK Dhruv, no need to worry " I assured him with a lip tight smile.
"Pkka na ! You look tensed from morning and you are ignoring me " he said.
I look towards him and my heart twitched seeing him getting tensed about me. I take a deep breath, "Dhruv " I softly call him.
He look at me , I place my hand on his hand ,"Dhruv I am ok , no need to get tensed, now smile for your buttercup " I said with a smile.
Hearing me he smile widely, " Thank god you are ok " Dhruv said.
He get back to his work, I take a sigh ,"I am sorry Dhruv " I whispered while looking towards him, a tear escaped from my eyes.
Time skip to evening 5 , I close my laptop and pack my stuffs. I stood up and going to walk outside, "Buttercup " a voice appeared, I look back and found Dhruv running towards me .
He came towards me while huffing, "Buttercup, Buttercup listen " he said while huffing.
"Dhruv atleast take a breath then talk " I said. He take a deep breath, "Buttercup I am saying let's go on a date tomorrow " he said while rubbing his neck.
"What D..ate" I stuttered.
"I mean a friend's Date " he said.
I sigh internally, "Actually Dhruv I am extremely sorry , I have plans with my family" I said.
He feels little sad but he regain his smile,"It's ok Buttercup we will hangout some other day" he said with a smile.
"I am sorry Dhruv next weekend we will hangout definitely " I said with a smile, trying to cheer him up.
"Yes we will " he said while giving me a wink.
"Let's go together till parking lot " he said and drag me with him.
We walk towards parking lot ,"Well Dhruv I forget something in office you go" I said and ran in opposite direction.
I stop and look back to see if he's coming or not and to my luck he's not. I take a deep breath, "thank god he's not coming after me" I thought.
