"So let me get this straight" My mate said slowly "In order to get my cousin back, we need to somehow capture and kill Sins? Like the Seven Deadly Sins? As in the evil ones that plagued humanity? You know, like the ones from the Bible?"

"We don't have to kill them" Pandora muttered "You just have to lure them to me."

"We have to do the luring?" I raised an eyebrow "Why do we have to do the dirty work?"

"Because they'll recognize me" Pandora scowled at me "Believe it or not, at one point in my life I did try to atone for my mistakes and capture them."

"Did it ever work?" My Mate asked, her tone soft "Did you ever get close to capturing them all?"

"One time," Pandora said, her tone turning dark "A few centuries ago when the Plague was at its peak. The Sins couldn't influence anyone if those who they were trying to influence were actively dying."

Alessia's jaw dropped open in shock.

"Let's say we're successful in the luring" Ethan asked, redirecting the conversation "Where the hell are we going to put them? I don't know if you've all noticed but we're struggling as it is to haul just the five of us around, what happens when we add seven more...people...creatures to the list?"

"It won't be a problem" Pandora said firmly, her tone unyielding "I can handle it."

"Really?" My eyebrows raised in apprehension once more "Forgive me for pointing this out pumpkin but, you don't have any powers."

"Xenos..." Zephyr snapped at me "If she says she can handle it, then let her handle it."

I reared my head back in shock at his words.

Something must have happened between the two of them after their little five minute conversation if his captive somehow managed to change my untrusting cousin's delusional fucking mind.

"I'm sorry but you want me to put my faith, my Mate's fucking life, in a powerless Goddess?" I sneered at my cousin "Just because you fucking said so?"

"Listen," Pandora started "Like I told your cousin, we only get one chance at this. If we're going to do this, for the sake of your cousin's mate, then we must work cohesively together. The Sins aren't your average Feral wolf or even your low level demigod. They're Gods in their own right, ruling their respective Realms of Hell and allowing their demon followers to cause chaos in the mortal realm in order to gain more power."

My eyes snapped to Zephyr "Your father houses the sins? And you knew about it?"

"Hades rules the Dead and the Souls of the Underworld" He said through gritted teeth "He doesn't control the demons or primordial monsters that existed before he came to earth."

"How..." I was interrupted by a sharp whistle, my gaze snapping to a pissed off Mate.

"Stop talking and just finish listening to what she has to say!" Alessia snapped at me "You can fight with him later but every second you waste is another second my cousin is forced to spend in that godforsaken devil's pit."

I couldn't help the pout that formed at her scolding, the words I had on my mind dying on my tongue.

Ethan covered up his snicker with a fake cough which promptly died as his niece turned her glare onto him.
