I didn't think you would show today.
I was in pain all morning long, my only ibuprofen had not been seen yet.
I quickly masked the sadness into pain, and outed myself into work.
Then you showed up, out of the blue.
You had just showered, somehow I knew.
My senses so costumed to you.
Those hazelnut threads, reminded me of a cool summer night, just as the sun starts to set; and your troubles melt away.
Wanting so badly, to run these fingers through those hazelnut threads.
They looked so fresh and anew, so delicate and good,
I wish I could inhale your shampoo, and submerge myself into the scent.
Now I stand and stare, daydreaming about those hazelnut threads...
