YOONGI'S POV

As Jin Hyung called me, I came toward the court. The sound of squeaking sneakers and bouncing basketballs filled the air as I made my way to the court. It was enough to make me smile. It's not just a game; it's my best hobby.

It's not usual for them to call me, as they know I'm not interested in any activity except basketball. Being the captain of the team for 3 years, I guessed why they called me, or you could say I was waiting for this.

The doors creaked as I pushed them open, stepping inside. My eyes immediately landed on Coach Shin, clipboard in hand, standing with his usual sharp expression. Jin Hyung was standing beside him, glasses resting on his nose and hands crossed over his chest.

"Yoongi, over here," Coach called out.

I walked toward them and arched my brows in a questioning way. He asked, "You know why you’re here?"

"Not exactly," I said, crossing my arms.

Coach smirked faintly. "You’re captain again this year."

I nodded. "I knew."

"It's not just a title," Coach added, his tone turning serious. "You've been doing this for years now, but I want you to treat every season like it’s your first. No room for slacking, no room for excuses. I need you to lead this team and keep them in shape. Especially today."

"Today?" I asked, glancing at the court where a few of my teammates were warming up, like Mark, Jackson, and many more.

Jin Hyung stepped in with a knowing smile.

Jin Hyung stepped in with a knowing smile. "We've arranged a practice match with the pharmacy department. It’ll be good for the team to get some early practice before the real games start."

"Great," I muttered, rolling my shoulders. "Let me guess. You’re expecting me to make sure we win, even though it’s just practice."

Coach's smirk widened. "Exactly. Now go get your team ready."

"You know right, Coach, Min Yoongi never loses even in mere things, but I never do," I smirked back, and he chuckled, patting my back. "That's my boy, now go."

I nodded, turning toward the court. My teammates were scattered, stretching, or lazily passing the ball around. I clapped my hands sharply, gaining their attention, and they faced me.

My voice was the only thing filled there. "Alright, team! Let’s focus up. We’ve got a practice match with the pharmacy department today. And it's not fun. You know I never like to lose, and I guess you do too?"
