JIMIN'S POV
Only one chit left. Who would it be? My eyes met his, and I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. He was already looking at me, his eyes locked on mine, as if he knew something I didn't. I felt like I was drowning in his gaze.
I picked the chit, my heart racing with excitement... It was... Before I could read the name, my eyes fell on him, who was focused intently on the chit. Why was my heart saying it should be him? What was happening with me? I felt like I was losing control, like my heart was beating to a different drum.
I looked down and opened the fold of the chit, then another fold. The name was "Min Yoongi". I read it loudly so everyone could hear. Why was I feeling happy that he was in my team, not one of the other professors? I wondered. I felt like I was dreaming, like this was all just a fantasy.
"Min Yoongi, stand behind your mentor, with your team," Miss Wang said, and he walked toward me. Namjoon was smiling, a teasing smile, only he knew that we were married, so of course, he would tease him. I felt my face heat up, my heart beating faster.
When Yoon was about to come, I saw Namjoon patting his back. He came toward me, his eyes not leaving mine for a second. He stood behind me, with the other four girls; he was the only boy in my team.
"So, Professor Park, your team is ready. Lia, Suzi, Jennie, Lisa, and Yoongi," Miss Wang announced, and all the students started to clap.
"Welcome to the team," I said coldly, and they all nodded.
"Now it's Professor Jin's turn," Miss Wang announced, and Jin Hyung pulled one chit. "Jung Hoseok," he announced. Hobi came and stood behind Jin Hyung. Suddenly, I don't know why, but I looked at Namjoon, who was clenching his jaw, his anger visible. Why would he be angry... or jealous? 'Am i missing something?'
"Second one is Kim Jisoo," Jin Hyung continued. "Third one is Park Rosé." "Fourth one is Kim Namjoon." When Jin Hyung said that, his face was glowing with happiness, his eyes met with Namjoon's. I literally felt like an audience member watching a movie.
Namjoon came and stood behind Jin Hyung. I turned my head back just to see Yoon smacking Namjoon's shoulder. "Wow, what a luck, Joon," Yoon said with a teasing smile.
"Doesn't matter when people don't care," Namjoon said, looking hurt. I saw Jin Hyung also hear it, and his face fell immediately.
" Fifth one is Mark," Jin Hyung announced the last name, and his team was ready. Soon, Miss Wang, Mrs. Lee, and Professor Choi announced their teams. Now, all 25 students were divided into 5 teams, standing with their own teams.
"So, now the real competition starts," I smirked, looking at the other professors. Jin Hyung came forward with confidence. "I'll give tough competition," Jin Hyung said, and I laughed.
