The lights of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California shimmered like a million tiny stars as you stepped out of the sleek black car onto the red carpet. The sound of flashing cameras and excited chatter filled the air, but all you could hear was the rapid pounding of your own heart. This was it. Your first Golden Globes. A dream that felt distant and unattainable just a year ago was now your reality.

You adjusted the shimmering silver gown that hugged your frame, its sequins catching the light with every movement. A stylist had spent hours making sure every detail was perfect, but despite their efforts, the butterflies in your stomach were impossible to tame. You were here because of your breakout role in "A New Dawn" (I thought of a random movie name), a film that had taken the industry by storm and earned you a nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture.

As you took your first step onto the carpet, you felt a warm, familiar hand slip into yours. Nicholas Chavez, your boyfriend and biggest supporter, was by your side. He was equally dazzling in his perfectly tailored tuxedo, the satin maroon fabric offset by a confident yet soft smile.

"You're going to kill it," he murmured, his voice steadying you in a way nothing else could.

You glanced up at him, grateful for his presence. "You too. Don't forget you're nominated tonight," you reminded him, squeezing his hand. Nicholas had garnered his own nomination for Best Actor in a Limited Series for his riveting performance in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. It was a monumental night for both of you.

As the two of you made your way down the carpet, reporters and cameras buzzed around you. A few stopped Nicholas, asking him about his performance and preparation for such an intense role. He answered with his usual charm and grace, but not before throwing a proud glance your way, as if to silently remind the world that tonight was just as much about you.

Finally, it was your turn. A reporter from Variety waved you over with an enthusiastic smile.

"Y/N, you're one of the biggest names on the carpet tonight! First of all, congratulations on your nomination for "A New Dawn." How does it feel to be here at your first Golden Globes?"

You exhaled a small laugh, trying to keep your nerves in check. "It feels surreal, honestly. Just being here with so many people I admire—actors I grew up watching—it's overwhelming but in the best way possible. I'm just trying to soak it all in."

"And your role in "A New Dawn" was phenomenal. People are already calling it iconic. How did you prepare for such an emotionally demanding character?"

"It was definitely a challenge," you admitted. "I worked closely with our director and spent a lot of time researching and understanding the character's background. I wanted to do justice to her story. It was exhausting but also incredibly rewarding."

The reporter nodded, clearly impressed. "And you're here with your boyfriend, Nicholas Chavez, who is also nominated tonight. How does it feel to share this moment with someone so close to you?"

You glanced over at Nicholas, who was standing nearby, watching you with nothing but pride in his eyes. "It's incredible," you said, unable to hide your smile. "He's been so supportive through this entire journey. I couldn't have asked for a better person to share this night with."

Nicholas joined you at that moment, sliding an arm around your waist as the cameras flashed furiously. "She's too kind," he said to the reporter. "I'm the lucky one. Watching her shine tonight is the highlight of my year."

The interview wrapped up soon after, and the two of you made your way into the venue, where the excitement only grew. The ballroom was filled with the biggest names in Hollywood, and yet, as Nicholas pulled out your chair at your table, you felt strangely at ease.

The ceremony began, each award bringing its own wave of anticipation. Nicholas kept his hand on your knee, his thumb tracing calming circles over the fabric of your gown. When his category was announced, you held your breath, clutching his hand tightly.

"And the Golden Globe goes to... Nicholas Chavez for Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story!"

The room erupted into applause as Nicholas's name was called. Your heart swelled with pride as he stood, momentarily stunned, before turning to you. He kissed your cheek quickly before heading to the stage.

You watched, teary-eyed, as he delivered a heartfelt speech, thanking the cast, crew, his family, and finally, you. "And to Y/N," he said, his voice warm, "thank you for believing in me, for being my rock. I wouldn't be standing here without you."

The camera cut to you showing the beautiful sight of you as you had tears in your eyes, giving Nick a heartwarming smile.

When he returned to the table, you threw your arms around him. "I'm so proud of you," you whispered, feeling a rush of emotion.

The night wasn't over yet. As the Best Actress category approached, your nerves returned full force. Nicholas noticed and leaned in close. "No matter what happens, you've already won in my book."

The presenter opened the envelope. "And the Golden Globe goes to... Y/N Y/L/N for A New Dawn!"

You froze, hardly able to process the words. Nicholas was the first to react, standing and cheering loudly as the crowd joined in. He pulled you to your feet, his smile wide and uncontainable. "You did it!" he exclaimed, kissing your forehead.

With shaky legs, you made your way to the stage, the applause and cheers washing over you. The weight of the Golden Globe in your hands felt both surreal and grounding.

"Wow," you began, your voice trembling slightly. "I don't even know what to say. Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, to the amazing team behind A New Dawn, and to the incredible cast I had the honor of working with. This film was a labor of love, and I'm so grateful it resonated with so many people."

You paused, scanning the crowd until your eyes found Nicholas. "And to Nicholas, who's been my biggest supporter and my constant source of inspiration—thank you for believing in me, even when I doubted myself."

The rest of the night passed in a blur of celebration. Backstage, Nicholas pulled you into a tight embrace, both of you holding your awards. "I'm so proud of you," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "This is just the beginning."

You smiled up at him, your heart full. "For both of us."

As the cameras captured the two of you, awards in hand, it was clear to everyone watching that this wasn't just a night of professional triumphs—it was a celebration of a partnership built on love, respect, and unwavering support.

A/N: Thanks to @-makemejuno for the idea!! I loved this and I hope all of you love it too! I wish Nick and the cast would've won the award for Best Limited Series and Cooper Koch for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series.
