A/N: okay so i saw this edit and it was of nicholas chavez and drew starkey (two of the hottest men in the world) and they were both ghostface but as a duo. So this is my take on if that was real. I love this so much so I hope you do too!

Backstory: You, Drew, and Nicholas got casted to be in the new Scream movie "Scream: Deadly Duo."

"Action!"

The word cut through the silence like a knife, and in an instant, the room was filled with tension. I darted into the dark hallway, my breathing ragged, my eyes wide as I turned to glance behind me. The camera tracked my every move, the lens capturing every ounce of fear etched on my face.

This wasn't real.

At least, it wasn't supposed to be.

But on this set—a sprawling, abandoned mansion in the middle of nowhere—everything felt far too real. The walls creaked, the shadows danced, and the two men stalking me down the corridor wore their Ghostface masks with unsettling ease.

Nicholas Chavez and Drew Starkey.

Two of the biggest rising stars in Hollywood. Drew was known for his magnetic charm and emotional depth, while Nicholas had the edge and intensity that made him perfect for roles like this. The pair had been cast as a Ghostface duo in the newest Scream movie, and I was their unfortunate victim in this scene.

The director had said we'd make history with this film. But standing here, running from two of the most convincing killers I'd ever seen, I couldn't help but feel like this wasn't just a movie anymore.

The Setup

The Scream franchise had always been about twists, and this movie was no different. My character, Sophia, was the final girl—or at least she thought she was. In this installment, the twist was that Ghostface wasn't one person, but two: Nicholas's character, Alex, was the calculating mastermind, while Drew's character, Evan, was the chaotic enforcer. Together, they made an unstoppable team.

From the moment I read the script, I knew this movie was going to be intense. But I wasn't prepared for how seamlessly Nicholas and Drew slipped into their roles.

Off-set, they were charming and funny, constantly joking around and making the long filming days bearable. But the moment the cameras started rolling, they transformed. Nicholas's warm smile turned cold and calculating, and Drew's playful smirk became something dark and dangerous.

"You're too good at this," I'd teased Nicholas during one of our breaks.

He'd smirked, raising an eyebrow. "Maybe I'm just channeling my inner Ghostface."

Drew had laughed, slinging an arm around my shoulders. "Careful, Y/N. You might start thinking we're the real deal."

The Scene

In the movie, this scene was supposed to be the turning point—the moment Sophia realized she wasn't just being hunted by Ghostface, but by two people she thought she could trust.

Nicholas cornered me first, his Ghostface mask pushed up onto his head. The cameras zoomed in as he stepped closer, the knife in his hand glinting under the dim light.

"Why do you look so surprised, Sophia?" he asked, his voice soft but menacing. "You had to know it was me."

I stumbled back, my heart pounding. "Alex, please... you don't have to do this."

He tilted his head, studying me like a predator sizing up its prey. "Oh, but I do. And you're going to make this so much fun."

Before I could respond, Drew appeared, his mask still in place. His laughter echoed through the room, sending chills down my spine.

"Don't let her fool you," he said, his tone mocking. "She's not as innocent as she looks."

I turned, my breath hitching as they closed in on me from both sides.

Between Takes

"Cut!"

The tension evaporated as the director called for a break, and I let out a shaky breath. Nicholas immediately dropped the menacing act, his expression softening into a grin.

"You okay?" he asked, stepping closer.

I nodded, running a hand through my hair. "Yeah. You guys are just... terrifying."

Drew laughed, pulling off his mask. "That's the point, right?"

The three of us had been filming together for weeks, and we'd developed an easy camaraderie. But even off-set, there was something about the way Nicholas and Drew embodied their characters that made it hard to separate fiction from reality.

"You're both too good at this," I said, shaking my head.

Nicholas smirked. "We've got to keep you on your toes."

The Final Chase

Back on set, the cameras rolled again, and I was running for my life. My bare feet slapped against the cold floor as I darted down the hallway, my breath hitching with each step.

Nicholas and Drew were relentless, their footsteps echoing behind me as they taunted me.

"Come on, Sophia," Nicholas called, his voice playful but laced with menace. "You're smarter than this. Let's make it interesting."

Drew laughed, his voice carrying through the dark. "She's too scared to be smart."

I turned a corner and found myself in a dead-end room. The script called for me to grab a makeshift weapon, but as I scanned the room, I realized the prop I needed wasn't there.

Panic rose in my chest. "Uh, guys—"

But before I could say anything, Nicholas stepped into the room, his expression deadly serious. He wasn't breaking character, and neither was Drew.

"Caught you," Nicholas said softly, raising his knife.

This wasn't part of the script.

Improvisation

My mind raced. If they weren't going to break character, I'd have to play along.

"Alex, wait," I said, my voice trembling. "You don't have to do this. You're better than him."

Nicholas hesitated, his dark eyes narrowing.

"Don't listen to her," Drew said, stepping into the room. "She's just trying to save herself."

"And you're just trying to steal my moment," Nicholas shot back, his voice cold.

The tension crackled between them, and for a split second, I wondered if they were still acting.

"You're always so dramatic," Drew said, his smirk returning. "But we both know you don't have the guts to finish this."

Nicholas's jaw tightened, and I saw my chance.

I grabbed a nearby chair and swung it at Drew, knocking him off balance. Nicholas lunged at me, but I ducked, grabbing the knife from his hand.

"Cut!" the director yelled, but none of us stopped moving.

The Final Twist

When the cameras finally stopped, I was breathless, the knife still clutched in my hand. Nicholas and Drew exchanged a glance, their faces breaking into matching grins.

"That was incredible," Nicholas said, his voice filled with genuine excitement.

"You really sold the terror," Drew added, pulling me into a side hug.

I let out a laugh, the adrenaline still coursing through me. "I thought you were both about to kill me for real."

"That's the magic of Scream," Nicholas said, his smirk returning. "You never know what's real."

As the crew began resetting for the next take, I couldn't help but glance between them. They were both so different—Nicholas with his quiet intensity, and Drew with his wild charm.

In the movie, Sophia wouldn't have had a choice. But in real life?

Maybe the scariest part was realizing I didn't know who I'd pick.
