In those days, I didn't know the value of a hundred dollar bill
I thought simply if I had just one I'd be wealthy even stillBut time drew on and I grew up and I got sad
I got to meet the world whether for good or bad
I learned a dozen things before my undergrad
I wish I could tell her of just how good I hadDear younger me

There is a hole in us that dancing couldn't fill
By tomorrow,
I wonder, if you have a smile I could borrow
Sincerely me,
The future badass woman that you dreamed I'd beP. S. My dear,
While times get hard and sad there's nothing you should fear.
By the next day,
The troubles will be nothing, «yo seré libre»,
Repeat it now,
Your mantra of strength and your own personal vow.Dec. 28 2024 MA
