"Stay close Anna, we aren't out of danger yet" Alexander instructs from in front of me. The current idea is for us to get out of here before it blows.
I don't reply but stay close to him. My mind is foggy at the moment. I can't help but think about what Anotaly showed me. I want to tell my family I really do, but that just doesn't seem possible. It'll only put them in more danger.
Shaking my head I try to stay focused on the task at hand. I was quite shocked to see Saint standing next to Lorenzo although I'm sure he wanted any chance at seeing his father.
Suddenly im stopped by crashing into someone's back. That someone just so happens to be the man I was talking about.
"Why did you stop" I ask looking up at Saint who's staring at something. He doesn't reply so I follow his eye line to find he's staring into a room.
I walk around him to get an idea of what he's staring at however my eyes widen at the sight in front of me.
"Nikolai" I yell before running over to his unmoving body. I internally flinch at the sight of his bruised body. He's also shirtless showing old and fresh scars. He's unconscious and barely breathing.
"Monsters, what did they do to you" I yell, not helping the lump forming in my throat at the sight of him.
"Nikolai" I tap his cheek a few times but still he doesn't open his eyes.
I turn around to see Saint still staring at his cousin. "Snap out of it Saint, help me carry him" I yell to the man who finally comes back to earth.
He mumbles a few words in Russian which sounds very threatening before marching over and easily picking Nikolai up.
"It's fine Arianna, I'll carry him we gotta go" Saint states adjusting the boy in his arms. I nod before running out the room, Saint following closely behind me.
"Hurry Anna" Saint yells as we draw near to the exit. Sorry you're not the one who got smacked in the head twice with a metal gun, well I do suppose he's carrying a deadweight body.
"Shut up" I yell back to him as we reach the exit. I'm surprised to see Alonzo and Alessandro waiting staring at us in shock.
"Arianna" Alonzo yells running over to me and instantly pulling me into him. I hug him back for a while, not wanting to let go of him.
"I was so worried" I hear Alonzo whisper before resting his cheek on my head. "Are you hurt at all" he suddenly says before pulling out of the hug and checking me over.
"I'll be okay Alonzo, it's Santiago and Nikolai that need help" I sigh before turning around to see Santiago being carefully placed into an suv.
"We leave now-" Lorenzo suddenly yells before cutting himself off.
"Who's that" Lorenzo turns to Saint eyeing him suspiciously.
"My cousin... he's been beaten badly" Saint responds in an eerily calm tone. Lorenzo looks to me to confirm and I nod.
