I open the unguarded warehouse door to a lot of noise. What is going on?
"So.. did you miss me" I exclaim to whoever is listening. The room goes silent and everyone stares at me with wide eyes. I take that as a yes.
"Arianna" Alexander is the first to say something as he runs over to me before pulling me into a hug.
"What the fuck happened to you" he states sniffling slightly. Aww he's been crying.
Before I can answer my father rushes over pulling me into a bone crushing hug. "You had us worried Arianna" he mumbles holding onto me for an extra amount of time. I should be worried, this guy couldn't find for me 6 hours.
Next Alonzo, Kai,Reign and Remy come running over knocking me over the in process. "Help, I'm gonna die of suffocation" I yell yet receive no help. Traitors.
"Alright get off her" I hear Lorenzo's voice and instantly smile. After my brothers get off me I run over to Lorenzo who pulls me into his embrace. The most comforting. "Don't leave us again Anna" he whispers before letting out a sigh of relief. Can't say that's promised Enzo, seems like I attract kidnappers.
"I promise I'll tell you what happened, but now is not a good time. Where is everyone else" I ask no one in particular. "And why is uncle Angelo crying" I ask. I notice everyone's face drop. What the hell is going on?
"It's Amias" Alessandro speaks up after a period of time. "He reacted badly to the poison, he's being treated in one of the rooms".
Immediately anger rises up inside of me. How dare they poison my little cousin. He's 4 years old. He doesn't deserve any of this.
I let out a breath before walking over to where uncle Angelo is having a breakdown. He's most likely drunk but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
"Uncle Angelo" I whisper sitting down next to him. Oh yeah he stinks of Vodka.Uncle Angelo looks up at me with puffy red eyes. "Arianna you're okay... I failed you too" he responds before beginning to cry again.
I hear a snicker and look up to see Alessandro being smacked by his dad. I glare at him before side hugging my uncle.
"It's okay Zio, Amias will be strong. He's a fighter" I whisper. Uncle Angelo looks up at me before pulling me into a hug. "Thank you Anna". He sniffles but I'm sure he's still going to be crying for the next hour. Alcohol.
"Wheres the rest of the family" I ask. Reign and Remy look at Lorenzo before gulping. Erm okay then.
"Luca and Luciano are in one of the rooms. Follow us" Reign answers. So I do, I stand up and follow them till we enter a makeshift hospital room.
Federicos eyes light up as he spots me. "Anna" he smiles slightly before pulling me into a side hug. "I knew you'd be fine". At least someone has faith in me.
I look around noticing Luca and Luciano are both asleep on the beds. As well as Leonardo who's sleeping on a chair next to them. That's so cute-
"Wake up" Malakai suddenly yells straight into Leo's ear who falls out the chair in shock.
"What the fuck" he yells at Kai who's hunched over laughing Along with The twins who are on the floor dying with laughter.
"Im gonna ki-" Leonardo begins to stalk towards Kai but stops noticing me. I give him a little wave. He waves back before his face goes serious and ends up chasing Kai around the hospital room.
Okay I'm getting out of here. I leave them to there shenanigans and enter the next room and am pleasantly surprised to see Selene, Apollo, Ares, Santiago and Luis. Not so much Luis he's a bit of a dick. Oh and Ares for that matter.
"ARI" Selene yells noticing me. She runs over crashing into me. "Stop leaving me you dumb bitch" she cries and laughs into my shoulder.
"I won't" I laugh before pulling out of the hug. My eyes fall to Santiago who looks somewhat guilty. On closer inspection I notice the bandage across his nose, as well as a slight black eye.
"What happened to your eye" I walk over to him. I instinctively go to touch it but retract my hand remembering we've got company.
"Your brother punched me in the face" he states not really making eye contact with me.
"Which one" I respond with a sigh.
"Alexander" he answers. Oh hell no I'm pissed. I march out the room and straight over to Alexander before punching him in the arm.
"Merda, what's that for" he asks rubbing his arm frantically.
"How could you" I raise my voice causing a bit of a crowd. Alexander looks to Alonzo who seems just as confused.
"How could you punch him before me" I state. Alexander lets out a sigh of relief while Luis chuckles.
"Geez, thanks for caring" I hear Santiago's voice. I turn around to see him glaring at me before walking off. What's wrong with him.
"Anna are you going to tell us what happened" Alonzo asks. I turn back around to see dad, Lorenzo and Alonzo staring at me desperately.
"I will... at home" I reply and their faces drop. Ignoring them, I turn around and quickly jog after Santiago.
"Hey" I ask catching up to Santiago before giving his shoulder a nudge.
"Hi" he responds sharply. What the hell is his problem.
"What's wrong, you've been acting weird since I came back" I ask narrowing my eyes at the boy.
"Well apart from your brother giving me a concussion, nothing so drop it" he snaps before walking away.
Absolutely not, he did not just walk away from me. I speed walk up to him before grabbing his hand. Santiago stops immediately before turning around.
"Just tell me Ti, is it what happened earlier" I say remembering the incident. He was drunk so I'm not fussed.
Santiago sighs before staring down at me. "Can we start again Anna, I've been a dick to you. And earlier I was drunk, I was invading your space". Oh. That's why he's upset.
"What do you mean start again" I ask crossing my arms but uncross them realising my cleavage is riding up.
"Well, friends and I mean it this time" he replies nibbling on his bottom lip. Is someone nervous hmm.
After a while of silence I take out my hand waiting for Santiago to take it. "Friends" I smile as Santiago shakes my hand and smirks.
"Do I get a hug" he asks raising an eyebrow. I roll my eyes before lightly shoving him.
"You still have to be a dick don't you" I mutter before turning around trying to hide the smile forming on my face.
