"Well I didn't expect this" I say to anyone who's listening as we stand with a welcome back sign at a crowded public airport.
"It's safer for them to arrive on a public flight rather than attracting attention flying with my private jet" Uncle Angelo answers whilst scratching the back of his head.
"Are you nervous dad" Leonardo asks smirking at Uncle Angelo who side eyes him.
"Why would I be nervous" Uncle Angelo responds trying to sound normal but we all know the truth. He wouldn't stop blabbering about her on the way here.
Apparently they haven't seen each other face to face in 2 years. They text but as Amias mother is living in Spain she doesn't visit America much. Also, Amias is normally taken to Spain via private jet with uncle Angelos trusted men.
I'm not sure what the full story as to why Uncle Angelo split with Amias mother but apparently it's because she found out he was in a mafia. She wanted to study and she didn't want this life. Of course she was also worried for Amias' safety but uncle Angelo argued his point that he'd always protect Amias.
Hmm, I wonder if she knows about Amias getting poisoned. Maybe that's why he was crying so much at that point.
"Because you still like her-" Leonardo is cut off by Uncle Angelo slapping him round the back of his head.
"Don't say that Leo" uncle Angelos utters before sighing. Out of all my uncles, Uncle Angelo is the youngest. He's 40 but acts like a child. 40 with 5 children and 3 baby moms. Wow.
"This is taking too long" Federico mumbles from beside me. I notice a dark bruise forming under his eye. Oops.
"Stop talking" Uncle Angelo snaps causing me to let out a laugh. He's stressing.
"I'm hung-" Leonardos complaint is cut off by a familiar little voice yelling to uncle Angelo. We all look up to see Amias running towards us dressed in a blue tracksuit. So cute.
"My boy" Uncle Anglo crouches down opening his arms for Amias who jumps into his dad and embraces him.
"I missed you daddy" Amias says making my heart melt. He's so cute, and his English is seriously improving.
"Look who's here Amias" Uncle Angelo pulls out of the hug as Amias peeks round him. The second he spots me his eyes light up.
"RIRI" he yells before running over to me. I laugh before picking him up and spinning him around.
"Excuse me, what about your brothers" Leonardo says clearly offended by the fact that Amias likes me more than him. I kiss Amias curls before placing him down to go and say hi to his brothers.
"I'm sorry, I tried to stop him running off but he's too fast" An unfamiliar accented voice says causing me to shoot my head up.
In front of me stands a woman staring at Uncle Angelo. Holy cow, I can see why he fell for her. She's beautiful.
