Now that that is out of the way happy reading people.

"Ruby Rose. You will scout out the dream. Find gaps in it's defense so that we may resolve it quickly. But remember. The nightmare will  try to defend itself so you will possibly meet its defenses." said Shion Zaiden after she explained everything else.

She normaly only wants to explain it when they are inside the dream but she has a chill running down her spine. She wants to interact as little as possible with Ruby Rose because she couldn't shake that inescapable feeling of dread that seemed to get stronger with every seconds that she talked to her.

"Ehm... ok." said Ruby unsure.

"Do you want one of us to come with you?" asked Percival concerned.

"Mr Shadow?" asked Ruby while everyone was asking themself to who Ruby was talking too.

"Negative. Duty has to be performed five minutes after entering a dream." said Mr Shadow.

"Because of rules?" asked Cassie.

"Because the human brain goes pop after 5 minutes and then rules are going into action because a human being cannot survive if the brain is effectively turned into a highly nutritious protein shake when i am in a dream of hers for more then 5 minutes." said Mr Shadow.

"... Ah yes. You told us something like that a few days ago." said Percival who was emberassed that he forgot that.

"I never thought i would hear "pop" out of deaths mouth." said Cassie.

"And i never thought that there would be something Mr Shadow can't do." said Ruby.

"Well then. Can i come with her then. From us three here. I am the best scout who won't blow up her mind. Also Ruby has my semblance of time manipulation." said Cassie.

"Valid argument. Means of travel will be created." said Death.

"Hey when can Perci attack? I also want him to help." asked Ruby.

"Get me when you need to stomp someone into the ground. I was never good with all that stealth and scouting shenanigans after all." said Percival while patted her head with his ghostly appendage.

"Fine." said Ruby annoyed before turning to her team.

"You got this sis." said Yang with Blake nodding while Ruby layed herself down on the aura filled strings and had her sight cut off by them.

"You are now going to enter her dream. Becarefull. The more you influence things the more she will take notice of you. And if my coins are used up i cannot get you back. Leave bread crumbs if you get too." said Shion Zaiden before she started her semblance.

"... supercharging of aura. Subject. Shion Zaiden." said Mr Shadow before Ruby went to sleep.

When Ruby woke up she realised that she wasn't in her usual clothes but more in things people would ski in. Snow was gently falling from the sky while Ruby felt something hard on her back.

"Hey sleepy head. We have a job to do!" she heared before Cassie came into view.

She wears a brown jacket, boots that go to the middle of her lower leg, jeans and a belt similar to Ruby's from which her two chacrams were hanging. With her blond hair and warm blue eyes she looked as if she was alive.

"Well... Looks like we safely got over. And because this is a dream i can finally do that." said Cassie happy before hugging Ruby.

She felt warm. Comforting and smelled like pine cones and smoke from a camp fire which was completely different to Percival who smelled like metal, Leather, wood and roasted meat. In total the hug had the same effect on Ruby as if her sister hugged her like that. It made her completely useless.
