Carlos, Jay and Ben lead Ginny back to the limo. Ginny looked around the interior in awe, "What is that?" she asked pointing to the candy bar. 

Carlos tilted, "It's called Candy." Holly hadn't sent over and sweets yet since there was still poor health care on the island, and many of them were eligible to overdo it and need a dentist. He reached over and handed her a piece of chocolate, "here try it." 

She looked at it skeptically, but she trusted Carlos so she took it in hand and nibbled at it. Her eyes widened and she looked at Carlos. 

Ben smiled at her softly, "Go ahead just don't eat too much. Holly will kill us if you get sick." 

She quickly finished the piece Carlos gave her and grabbed another. Watching her try the candy bar made Ben feel horrendous. His parents had deprived so many children of even the smallest of joys for the 'crime' of being born. He had been starting to open his eyes when he brought over Holly and the others but being here was so different there was so much more going on her then he could have possibly comprehended a year ago. Honestly it was probably a good thing that Holly had only told him in little increments. He was eligible to hunt down his parents if he heard it all at once.

The most startling realization came to him when he realized that Holly had been caring for all these people on her own for years. Yes, her father helped her, but he couldn't do much beyond tell her how to take care of them without his powers. Holly was a care giver at heart. She loved and cared for people more then she could afford too sometimes. He still saw it; she would forget that Hadie could eat as much as she wants and share her food when he said he was still hungry. He saw it in the way he would talk Carlos down from a panic attack or Jay down from a fit of rage. He saw it in the way that she would rip pieces of her shirt off to wrap up Mal any time she got hurt and the way she would let Evie braid her hair or do her make-up without even flinching. Holly was only 17 but she was a caregiver at heart. He saw it in the way she played with and entertained the kids at Pre-prep 

He was wondering how he could speed up the process because honestly, she was more than ready to take in Quinn now. 

"We're here," Jay announced parking in front of the school. 

Ginny climbed out first and looked around in awe. it really was starting difference Jay and Carlos could remember their first reactions vividly. Even in the darkness of the night Auradon looked alive while the isle looked desecrated.

They quickly made their way to the boy's dorm and Ginny was looking everywhere trying to take in as much as she could before she went back ben had briefly explained everything to her on the way to the limo. She knew she couldn't stay, this place wasn't built for her, not yet anyway. she yelped and hid behind Ben and as a furry thing ran down the hall. "Ginny it's okay it's just Carlos' dog." 

"I'm sorry I'm so late, Dude. Hayden got captured."

Jay stopped them, "Why is our door open?"

Carlos looked over at the obviously swung open door, "Probably one of the girls." 

"Girls?" Ginny asked as they made their way to the dorm. Inside was Remi asleep on Carlos' bed with Nova under her arm. "Who is she?" she asked looking at the obvious elementary school girl. 

"My sister, she comes down this way whenever she can't sleep." 

"Sister?" Ginny asked evermore confused, "how out of the loop am I?" 

"Carlos basically got adopted by the Radcliff's last year, that's one of their daughters," Jay answered. Ginny stopped short. The Radcliff's, the family that his mother had terrorized accepted him.
