Lonnie and Jay were the first ones out of the tunnels. "Not bad," she grinned at Jay making sure to toss her sword into the trunk.

Jay smirked, "you weren't so bad yourself."

Carlos was next. "You, okay?" he asked Lonnie.

"Yeah, I'm good," she assured him.

"Nice work out there Lonnie," He waited for Hadie and Chole to come out of the tunnels taking they weapons from them, "Get in the car you two. Dude go with them," he told them as he put the swords in the trunk. He saw the dog jump on after the two children, "Oh now you listen to me," he rolled his eyes.

Ginny and Harry were the next ones out of the tunnel, "Come on!" Lonnie said guiding them over to the limo. Ginny climbed in less fazed than she was earlier, Harry on the other hand looked hesitant. "Go on get in," Lonnie urged patiently even if they really didn't have the time.

His eyes shifted back to the entrance to the bay, "CJ-"

"I promised her you'd be safe, and she kept up appearances Shes safe for now. So, excuse my language, but get your ass in the car!" Harry blinked stunned. Ginny took the chance to lead him into the car.

Evie was the next one down. She Looked back into the tunnel and yelled, "Guys come on!"

Ben and Hayden jumped down, "Mal! Holly!" Ben yelled through the tunnel. The two girls turned on their heels and ran through the tunnels leaving the pirates to find their own way out of the bay and hearing Uma's frustrated scream behind them. Ben held out his hands and let Holly jump down as she ran out of the tunnel. Mal took initiative and grabbed Hayden's hand leading him to the car. All four tossed their swords in the trunk letting Carlos close it and hopped in as Jay drove away.

There was a moment of silence all of the breathing heavily, "I'm sorry," Mal whispered. They all looked to her. She covered her face leaning back, "I never meant for it to get this far."

"Hey," Hayden said softly, "You're safe, we're all safe everything will be okay." Will be okay, not is okay, because it's not, nothing is okay right now. They were all exhausted, covered in blood sweat and grime, smuggling two more VK's over the bridge and cotillion was in less than 12 hours.

She shook her head, "I shouldn't have tried to spell you, I shouldn't have run off, I should have gone back when you came for me. I did a lot of things wrong, and you guys never gave up on me. Why?"

"Cause we love you stupid," surprisingly it was Chole who said it. She was the one with the least stakes in this game and showed up last with Hadie. "You're our friend and our family. Why would we give up on you?"

Tears fell down Mal's cheeks, "Cause I'm a screw up."

"Yeah well," Harry started, "so are a bunch of us, I can't speak for glass slipper, beast, spindle and kick ass over there but the rest of us have messed up more than once."

"So, have we," Ben assured them. "We mess up too." He looked out the window at the passing scenery, "I can't believe I let it get this bad."

Holly took his hand in hers, "This wasn't you-"

"But I didn't act fast enough once I got the throne," he lamented seeing the horrible conditions the isle was in. "I didn't even bother showing up or speaking to anyone here. I didn't promise any change or let them know that you guys weren't the only ones coming over. I went radio silent," he dropped his head in his hands. that was his mistake, at least what he thought was his mistake.

"At least we got to see the Isle," Hayden said, "they're our people too."

"We need to remind them that," Ben said.
