Ben didn't know how he let this happen. He wanted to believe he had some kind of power in the situation, but the honest truth is that he didn't. Chole and Hadie were coming even if he had signed an executive order telling them to stay put. He feared Hadie might actually try to kill him if he had honestly, and chole would give him and alibi. So, here they were, Jay, Carlos, Ginny and Him running through the courtyard back to the limo with two sword happy 15-year-olds on their tails running back to and island where half the population wants them dead. When had this become his life?

Chad had agreed to watch Remi as a way to calm both their nerves and keep her from wandering around either the high school or elementary school and telling everyone that Hayden was stuck somewhere bad, and Carlos and the others had gone to go save him. As they ran out Dude asked, "hey guys what about me?" Oh yeah and the Dog still talks. Seriously, how had this become his life again? 

Carlos answered, "no Dude you stay, I'm serious, stay." Dude groaned, "I love you buddy, we'll be back before you know it." Remi patted her lap and called dude up to sit in Carlos' bed with her and Nova. 

They made their way down to the courtyard thanking all the gods they could that it was the weekend, and it was still the early hours of the morning. "Oh hey," They turned and saw Doug. Because if anyone was awake at this time it would be him. He and Holly had study sessions together on Sundays. 

Damn it.  

Jay hid the fake wand behind his back and Ginny ducked behind a nearby pillar. She wasn't sure if he was someone she could trust. "Have you guys seen the girls? She hasn't answered my calls since yesterday and Holly didn't show up for our study session today."

"Uhhhhh they went camping!" Jay decided, "All of them." It wasn't the best excuse, but it was all he had. 

Doug was confused, more than that he was baffled, he knew his girlfriend and he knew that she was not the type of person to enjoy an activity where she could break a nail. "Mal and Holly, defiantly, completely understandable, but Evie I wanna live in a castle sleeping on the ground with no place to plug in a hair dryer?"

Carlos laughed, answering his remark about Evie, "it was Holly's Idea something about sharing each other's cultures." Mal being a fey helped solidify this argument, "I'm pretty sure she is complaining about the hair dryer as we speak."

Doug wanted to argue that that still didn't sound like Evie, but he couldn't cause it did should like Holly. She was the type of person who loved her friends with every part of her being and if she decided that they needed reconnected she would find a way to do it. And to the others? Well Holly took care of them and showed them love when they had none. She was their big sister for all intents and purposes if she asked, they would make it happen. "Yeah, that tracks, alright thanks guys." he waved them off and made his way back inside. 

They all nervously laughed, "totally, totally later Doug." Hadie smiled tensely. Yeah, they were acting weird. He was defiantly asking Evie about this later.

After they turned around the previously mentioned intruder was there. Lonnie stood beside them a bag of swords from the hidden armory slung over her shoulder. "I'm coming with you."

"Are those the armory swords?" Ben asked, no one besides, him his parents, fairy godmother and Holly knew about the armory. 

"Holly said if bad things happen, I would be one of their first ones she called." Basically, Holly had decided Lonnie was more trustworthy than the head of the guard his parents appointed, and she was completely right to. 

Jay laughed nervously "What we don't need swords at the...." He trailed off not sure what to say. 

Lonnie gave him that same look, making him look down, "You're going to the isle to rescue Hayden. Now I don't know a lot about the island, but your all my friends and I know how bummed out Holly and Hadie have been about not being able to go back to the island. I can only imagine how dangerous it is for them let alone Hayden. Let me help you guys, you know I can." They all looked between each other.
