When Hayden awoke up on a ship, he had a moment of panic, he pulled at his binds, twisted his arm trying to reach for his knife shimmy his hands out, anything to get free.

"It's useless," a familiar voice said. A boy, the boy they had bumped into earlier dropped down in front of him presumably from the ropes above. "CJ's knots are tight."

"Why the hell am I here?" he growled still pulling at his binds. "Where the hell am I?"

"The lost revenge," He answered leaning on the railing. "The ship of the toughest pirate captain in the on the island.

"Only cause yer captain sank me brother's vessel," a little blond girl with a Scottish accent snapped.

"CJ!" a boy with the same accent, presumably her brother, scolded in a harsh whisper. "Be quiet, do ya want to get me killed." The boy was riddled in injuries, a bandaged wrist, a slight limp, bruises on his neck and collar, a black eye and a slash across his cheek. He looked fragile, like a slight wind would knock him down, and on top of all of that he seemed downright terrified.

"I'll kill her first-" She was cut off by Gil placing a hand over her mouth.

"Why the hell am I here?" Hayden repeated the question.

CJ pushed the boy off of her, "yer a captive genius," she rolled her eyes. "A bargaining chip so Uma can get the wand, and piss of Holly in the process."

Hayden gave them a questioning look laced with annoyance, "Why is capturing me supposed to piss of Holly I'm not her boyfriend."

The boy she pushed shrugged, "and we don't hate Holly."

The other boy smacked him upside the head, "that's not an answer." He rolled his eyes, he looked back at Hayden, "yer her friend, someone she cares about around here that's enough."

Hayden shook his head, "Wait if none of you hate Holly why are you going along with this? Let me out!" he tugged at the ropes.

None of them moved to help him, "Uma is really the only one here that has a problem with Holly. This was her turf, and she wasn't the nicest girl so naturally their challengers like Uma. You're just collateral damage in their brawl," the one with the Hook drawls.

Hayden took a moment to examine him, he could have sworn he had seen him before. Then it all clicked in place when he saw the hook hanging from his belt, "You're Harry aren't you," he stiffened. "You are! You're one of the people she has in the pictures in her locker."

Harry froze, "Don't say that" he whispered turning away.

"You are! You're her friend! Why are you-"

Harrys Hook was in hand in and instant and he buried in in the mast directly beside Hayden's head. A centimeter more and he would have been bludgeoned. "Don't make me feel worse than I already do," He whispered harshly, unshed tears pricking at his eyes.

He didn't look like a fierce pirate he was supposed to be or the respected captain he once was, in fact he looked like the damaged boy he was. A captain fallen from grace a man who sold his soul to save his friends and family. He saw what Uma had created clear as day, beyond the injuries, he saw the soul the Uma broke. He saw the horrors that Adam had allowed to happen by creating this place.

Harry pulled his hook from the mast and scurried off back to his cabin needed to put as much distance between him and the prince as possible. He slammed his cabin door shut and breathed heavily, he scratched at his neck, a toxic response that he and Mal had in common. He suddenly felt very hot, he felt as if he was suffocating. He pulled off his jacket and threw it on the floor. He placed his hands on the wall of his cabin looking out the port hole and keeping his eyes trained on the kingdom in the distance.
