Chole walked along the hallways of the boy's dormitory's figuring that Chad was in Carlos and Jay's room considering he was watching Remi. Her mind was racing, she realized on the walk to Chad that she would need to thank Hye for waking Hadie up and blessing the two of them. She had seen Hadie's sword play, he was not that good and neither was she. Not to mention that she wasn't oblivious to the change in Hadie's aura. The blue glow that normally surrounded him like rippling fire had been replaced, a blessing overruling his natural deific state. In its place was a shinning reddish-brown hue like gleaming armor.

It was likely that Hadie hadn't noticed the change in her as Hye's aura was always flickering around her since they were children, and she agreed to be his priestess.

That was another question she needed to bring up.

She knocked on Carlos and Jays dorm room door, "Chad."

Chad who had been sitting at Carlos' desk doing his homework heard the knock and recognized the voice instantly. He shot up like a bullet out of the barrel and threw the door open.

Chole stood on the other side of the door bruised, and dirty but alive and smiling, "I'm home."

Her older brother let out a sigh of relief and pulls her into a hug, "thank the gods." He fussed over her looking over for any injuries and worried over her cuts and bruises.

If someone told her a year ago that her brother would be this worried and this doting, she would have had them locked up. "I'm fine Chad. I promise, Hadie had my back the whole time," she smiled softly to herself.

Chad raised an eyebrow; he didn't need to be blessed by Eros to see the admiration in her eyes. it was the same look that Carlos gave Jane, the look Ben gave Holly, the look their mother gave their father. It made his heart hurt for his little sister, and Hadie. "Chole, you made a deal, and you have to honor it."

"But he's my friend, maybe he'll let me off the hook," hope bleed into her voice. They were both really little and made a deal without knowing what the consequences would be, without thinking that their feelings would change as they grow.

"He's also a god Chole; the gods love to play with mortals especially disrespectful humans."

"It's not disrespect, I'm just different now naturally," she sighed. "I'll give back his blessing I don't care anymore."

"Chole it's not gonna be that easy-"

"You don't know that." While they were arguing Remi had woken up and let her eyes lock on Chole, she remembered Chad telling her that Chole had left with Carlos and the others. So, if she was as back it stood to reason that the others were back. She slipped out of the room quietly, Nova looking up but not really bothering to follow. The moment she was out of the room she dashed off down the halls looking for her brother.

"I don't, but I also don't want you to get hurt," Chad told her with pleading eyes. "I know you were safe one the isle with Hadie, I knew Hye would never let you get hurt while you were his, but I couldn't help but worry. I was a horrible brother Chole, for years, but I'm still selfish. I don't want something to happen to you the moment I get out of my own head. I didn't get enough time to actually love you."

Chole blinked and tilted her head; Chad had never told her that he loved her. She reached forward and pulled him into a bone crushing hug. "I love you too." He wrapped his arms around her tightly, his arms shook, and she felt the tension that he held slowly melting away. "But I'll never know if I don't ask."

Lonnie made the long trek to the armory. The armory that Holly had taken to hiding with magic after Maleficent made it through the barrier. Lonnie was the only one that knew where it was besides Ben and Holly. They had moved it while Belle and Adam have away. They had done a lot since the previous king and queen have been away. Cotillion traditionally should be held once they get back, but Ben had sped up the process purposely so that the event could go as smoothly as possible, he also excluded a lot of the older court so Mal and Holly could be comfortable and not insulted at a party that was supposed to be about them. Lonnie admired Ben for all he did for Holly and their country. The kingdom was rich, people were happy, really happy not fake happy, fairy godmother didn't need to lift her wand to keep their artificial spring all year long it just happened, magical creatures that had long since left started making appearances again and the land that had seemed to lack magic since Belle and Adam took the throne had started sprouting up magical flowers and birthing fairies once more. Auradon was thriving, it was like the gods breathed life back into the country when Ben started practicing and Holly showed up.
