Risk Of Deletion?

Sorry, guys, this isn't an update. My mind still needs to rest—I've had a couple of long days.

But something very serious is happening. A story called Arsenic Blues by one of my favorite authors, 11QueenSupreme11, might be at risk of getting deleted by Wattpad.

That completely shocked me. Arsenic Blues, the story that inspired me to start writing this one, possibly getting deleted?

I think it's really unfair of Wattpad to do this. The author worked so hard on her story! If it's because of the smut, there are plenty of other books with more explicit content than hers, and they're still on this platform!

Now I can't help but wonder—could my story be at risk of getting deleted too?

So far, Wattpad hasn't sent me any warnings. I know they've checked my story because they messaged me about changing its category.

This story doesn't even have smut... yet. Percy isn't underage—she's been 18 since the start—so she's an adult. And the only images included are the cover and character references.

For now, it looks like I'm in the clear.

(I don't know about my Little Mermaid x ROR story though. Ariel is 16, but is considered an adult for a mermaid)

What do you guys think? Am I safe? Should I move this story to AO3? Or should I make this story more age friendly? (Honestly, I'd really rather not spend time moving the chapters to AO3 😭)

I feel like as long as my characters aren't underage, the story should be fine. If that's the case, maybe the author of Arsenic Blues should change her Percy's age as well. (Isn't she 16 in that story?)

On a happier note, I've decided to do the next chapter as a reaction. Might as well start The Sea of Monsters. I am still posting on Wattpad until they say something.
