Sam's POV:
I went to pick up Kaitlyn like every morning, but this time we brought Kian since he crashed his car again. Some actually hit him but still. We got to Kaitlyn's house and her mom wasn't home because her car wasn't there so we let our selves in like we usually do (😂) I didn't see Kaitlyn so I shouted "Kaitlyn?" "I'm up stairs hold on" I herd her quite soft voice say. I got a glass of water and waited on the couch beside Kian for her. I herd her walk to the bathroom so I decided to sneak up on her. I walked up behind her and grabbed her "ahh" she screamed. "Hey!" She said we both laughed. I leaned in for a kiss but she leaned back. "What's wrong" I asked "ew I have morning breathe" Kaitlyn said "so?" I asked playing with her "so it's gross, wait like a minute" "ugh okay" I said smiling. Kaitlyn brushed her teeth and rinsed with mouthwash and then finally let me kiss her. "Hello! Guys! We need to go" Kian yelled "one minute" Kaitlyn said. Kian walked up stairs and put Kaitlyn on his shoulders and started walking down the stairs. "Kian. What are you doing?" Kaitlyn asked him "if I take you Sam will follow so now we can go to school" Kian said. I rolled my eyes and followed the, down stairs. "Ready?" I asked them "yep lets go" Kaitlyn said. When we got to school I saw this girl. I know what your all thinking! I'm not that type of guy and I'm in love with Kaitlyn! "Who's that?" I asked Kaitlyn. She looked at me with a shocked face. "Not for me, for you" I told her "what?!" She asked "she looks lost maybe you should go be friendly and see if she's okay" I said "I can make friends on my own, you know" "I know" I said pushing her towards the girl.
Kaitlyn's POV:
Is Sam really trying to help me make friends. She looks nice and sweet though. Maybe he's right. I do need some more friends. I walked up to her. Before I got to her I looked back at Sam he winked at me and did that half smile I always dye for. I walked up to her and said "hey, I'm Kaitlyn" "hey I'm Destry" she said smiling. "I thought maybe you would like to be friends?" I asked her "yes of course! Thank you I'm new and don't have one friend" she said "now you have a friend, actually 2. That's my boyfriend over there And he wants to be friends too" I said laughing and pointing at Sam. "Ok cool" she said. We started talking and she was very nice. Sam walked over to take me to class, but I told him that I was going to walk Destry. He gave me a kiss and walked away smiling. I'm so lucky to have him. "Wow you guys seem so happy" Destry said "yeah we are" I said smiling. "How long have you guys been together?" She asked "almost 6 months" I told her "wow you guys are so cute together!" She said "awe thank you" I told her. I knew I was blushing, but I've been blushing for a while. It turned out Destry was in most of my classes, so it was really easy being able to be around her and everything. I walked into the cafe for lunch and saw Sam sitting with the guys. He smiled over at me and I smiled back. I grabbed some food and went to sit with them. "Why are you here?" Hayes said. I couldn't tell if he was joking around or not but I just looked at Sam. He's been acting really bitchy lately. "Hey" Sam told him looking kind of mad. "I'm just asking" Hayes said "I can leave?" I suggested "no babe, you don't need to. And Hayes I would like to spend lunch with my girlfriend" Sam said. "Like you don't spend enough time with her" Hayes said. I wasn't sure what was going on but I got the impression that Hayes is pissed at me "Hayes just stop" JC said. "What's that supposed to mean" Sam said "if you haven't noticed, you've been ditching us for her" Hayes said glaring at me. "What are you talking about I haven't ditched you! And don't talk like that to my girlfriend" Sam told Hayes "I wasn't talking to her! And okay tell your self that" Hayes said. Sam stood up out of his chair and said "do you want to start a fight!" Giving Hayes a glare. "Sam no please don't fight" I told him. Of course no one listened to me and Hayes stood up and said "fight me than" "you guys are stupid! Don't start something we're going to have to finish" Kian said "than stay out of it" Hayes said. They both moved away and started looking at each other like they were going to fight. Hayes was about to take his first swing when I got up and got in front of Sam and grabbed him. "Hurt him and you'll have to hurt me" I told Hayes. All of the guys stood up to see what was going to happen and see if they would have to do something. Kian got on one side of Sam and the rest of the guys were standing around Hayes and Sam. "Okay" has said. He was about to punch us? When Sam pushed me to Kian and ducked down dogging the punch. Kian caught me and I stood on his side worrying. They started going back and fourth trying to punch each other but they kept dogging the swings. Luckily. Hayes was a acting like a child! He tricked Sam and then punched him. I don't think it was hard but what got me was when Sam punched him back. Harder though. But only because Sam is stronger than Hayes. JC and Nash held Hayes back and I pulled Sam away. "Don't do that again" I told Sam wrapping my arms around him. "Okay, I'm sorry" Sam said. At least he apologized? I don't really know how to feel about my boyfriend getting into a fight. Sam was about to ditch school for the rest of the day when I stopped him. "Where are you going?" I asked him "I'm not sure yet, maybe home" he answered. "Why?" I asked him "I just don't feel like being at school today" " not even with me?" I asked him "of course I want to stay for you! But I just need some time to clear my head" he said "can I come with you?" I asked him leaning on him. "I would love you to, but you need to stay in school" Sam said "but you need to stay too" I told him. "Maybe" Sam said "I'll tell you what. You go home and get some rest and clear your head, if you promise to come see me tonight.." I asked him smiling. "Deal, I was already planning on coming tonight" Sam said "aw okay" I said. "You need to get to class and do good" Sam said "yes mom" I told him. We both started laughing and then Sam went home. Dang it, he was my ride. And I don't have my board. Looks like I'll find a ride with someone else.
Destry's POV:
I saw Kaitlyn so I ran to her. "Where's your boyfriend?" I asked her "he went home" she said "aw no why?" "He wasn't feeling good" "after the fight" I asked "yeah.." She said "I hope he feels better!" "Thanks me too" "so who was the hot one fighting Sam?" I asked Kaitlyn "Hayes, but he's not hot" Kaitlyn said "to me he is" I said kind of blushing. You couldn't tell though. "You can think that but I'm really mad at him right now" "aren't you mad at Sam too?" I asked her "no" she said "than why be mad at Hayes if your not going to be mad at Sam?" "Because Hayes started it and started saying crap that wasn't true" "ohh" I told her. It didn't bother me that Hayes got into a fight with Kaitlyn's boyfriend, but oh well. My first day of school went well. Before I went home I asked Kaitlyn for number while she was waiting for Sam to come get her. Sam came got her and I was waiting for my mom. While I was waiting I went to sit on the bench and than someone came. I looked over and it was Hayes. He looked at me. He was even cuter in person! "Hey" Hayes said "hi" I said "someone told me that you tutor people?" How did he know that "yeah I did but haven't really started here yet, why?" I told him. "Would you like your first student?" He asked "yeah that would be great." I told him "here's my number call me when your free" Hayes said handing me his number. Wow I never thought I would be tutoring Hayes! I thought to my self. Just as he walked away my mom pulled up. "How was your first day?" She asked "actually great" I told her "that's good, meet anybody" "yeah I made a couple friends today" I told her "that's even better" I put my headphones in and tried to enjoy the ride home. I only lived about 10 minutes away from the school. I grabbed a snack and went up stairs to my room. I remembered that I had Hayes' number, so I put it in my phone and decided to text him
Me: "hey Hayes it's Destry"
Hayes: "hey boo"
Me: "boo?" Did he really just call me boo?
Hayes: "just a joke, don't worry about it"
Me: "okay"
Hayes: "figured out when your free?"
Me: "how's Wednesday?"
Hayes: "sounds good! See you Wednesday, if not sooner"
Me: "okay sounds like a plan"
I was still confused about the boo thing but I didn't worry about it. I watched some tv and went to bed.
