Destry's POV:
"HELLO? HAYES" I yelled into the phone as tears started rolling down my face. I started running on the side of the road to find Hayes. He said he was 3 mins away he couldn't be far. I kept running and running when I saw Hayes' car. I rushed over there now panicking. I looked into the glass and saw Hayes. I busted in tears. His face was covered in blood. Why has no body called 911?! I struggled to call 911 because I was shaking way to much. I heard the sirens as they rushed over here. They were talking to each other and at this point I couldn't understand what they were saying. I am so worried about Hayes. They rushed Hayes from the car to the ambulance. "Are you family?" They asked me "girlfriend" I replied "come with us" he said showing me into the ambulance. I grabbed Hayes' hand as we went to the hospital. They told me to wait I'm the waiting room until surgery was done. Ugh I couldn't wait. I decided to call Kaitlyn. "Hello?" She said. Before I answered I heard kissing. I assumed if was Sam since they are dating! "Can I borrow you from Sam for a moment" I asked. I heard her say she'll be right back and Sam say aww but oh well "what's up?" She asked "can you come to the hospital?" I asked "OH MY GOD DESTRY ARE YOU OKAY" she said sounding like she was panicking. "I'm fine but Hayes isnt" I said "oh my god what happen!" Kaitlyn said "he got into a car crash" I explained "is he okay?" She asked "he's in surgery right now" I said "well be right there" Kaitlyn said. "Okay" I said. She didn't hang up yet and I heard her and Sam talking "we need to go to the hospital" Kaitlyn said "are you okay!? Is the baby okay?!" Sam asked "it's not me, we need to be there for Destry" "is she okay?" Sam asked "yeah Hayes isn't, I'll explain in the car" Kaitlyn told him and then said "we're on our way" and hung up. As I was waiting for Sam and Kaitlyn and Hayes to be okay I started pacing between the hallway. I then saw Kaitlyn run up to me. She gave me a big hug. "How are you holding up?" She asked "I'm so worried" I told her. "It will be okay! Hayes will be okay" Kaitlyn said. "I hope so" I said. I saw the doctor walk out so I walked over to him. "Destry?" He said "yes that's me" I said "Hayes is currently out of surgery and is okay". I took a deep breath and said "thank god" "you can come see him now if you'd like" he said "yes please" I said. He walked me into his room and then left. I walked over to Hayes' bed side and started tearing up. I grabbed his hand and started talking to him. "Hi..I'm so happy your okay. I love you so much Hayes Grier" I said. He squeezed me hand. My heart stopped in relieve. I sat down on the chair and the next thing I knew I fell asleep. I didn't know I fell asleep until I woke up from Hayes calling me. "Destry?" He said. My eyes opened and I just looked at him. "Hey baby" I said. I got up and sat on the edge of the bed. He pulled me to where I was now laying with him. "I love you so much" he said "I love you more" I said. "That's impossible" he said just before he kissed me. Then the doctor walked in. "Hey guys. Okay so Hayes you have to stay here over night to make sure everything is normal. Be aware that Hayes you could have died during surgery. You've got a strong fighter. So be careful with everything you do. Destry make it easy for him" the doctor said. He than gave Hayes some pills and Hayes fell back asleep. I walked out of Hayes' room to find Sam and Kaitlyn and tell them. They saw me and walked over to me. "How is he?!" Sam asked "he's good. He woke up and can go home tomorrow" that's great" Kaitlyn said "I'm so thankful he's okay" I said "he wouldn't leave you like that. He fought to stay" Sam said. I smiled and blushed. Whenever I hear Hayes' name I get butterflies in my stomach. I'm so lucky to have him. "Okay well I'm going to go back in there and wait till he wakes up" I said "yeah you should go wait by him" Kaitlyn said "he's be happy that your there" Sam said. I waved at them and walked back to Hayes.
Kaitlyn's POV:
Sam grabbed my hand right before we left the hospital and stopped. "What" I said "where already here" Sam said giving me a look. "What do you mean?" I asked him. "We're already at the hospital. We should go to the baby clinic and check everything out" Sam said. I know he's right but I'm scared. I don't want to see that it's real yet. "Your right. But that means this is really happening. And Sam I'm scared" I said hugging him. "I know your scared. I'm scared to. But we have to face this and make sure we're doing everything right" he said "you mean make sure I'm doing everything right" I said. He laughed. We walked over to the map and found where we needed to go. We got to the clinic door. Sam opened the door because my nerve to open it never came. As we walked in everybody stared at us. "May I help you?" The lady at the desk out. "I'm pregnant and I need to see a doctor" I said "have you seen one before?" She asked. She must see that I'm not far along. "No this is the first visit" I said "have a seat and I'll get all the paper work ready and you'll see the doctor shortly" she said. We sat down and waited for the doctor. As we were waiting I got a text from Maria
Maria: hey what are you doing?
Me: at the doctor
Maria: FOR???!
Me: the baby
Maria: Omfg you actually went
Me: yeah I need to see my options and find out what I have to do
Maria: have you told your mom yet?
Me: no way!
Maria: you need to
Me: I will soon. Hey I gtg were gonna go in soon
Maria: CALL ME AFTER BECAUSE IM COMING OVER. I NEED TO TALK TO YOU
Me: YOU BETTER NOT BE PREGNANT TO!!
Maria: um no, but okay ttyl
As soon as I read that last text from Maria they called us back. "Ms Alyssa and Mr Pottorff" the lady said. We followed her back into a room. "Hello Ms Alyssa and Mr Pottorff, I will be you doctor throughout this pregnancy my name is Doctor Fields" she said "hi Doctor Fields" I said "you don't have to sound like your scared" Doctor Fields said. I just smiled. "Okay so how far along are you?" She asked "maybe 3 months" I said "you don't know?" "Yeah we just found out about a month or 2 ago" Sam sad "okay baby why don't you step up here lay down and we'll see if we can see your baby" she said. I got up and laid down on the bed. She put some cold weird gel on my stomach and moved the little machine around to see the baby "good" she said. We looked at her confused. "Your baby seems to be healthy so far. We will be able to see the sex of the baby in about a month" the doctor said. "Great!" Sam said with excitement. "Well scheduled your next appointment for next month and you guys will be good" she said "okay thank you" I said "wait before we go, do you guys have a plan? You look young do your parents know?" She asked "no and not really. That's why we came to see our options" I said "you guys need to discuss what you want to do and we'll talk next time" she said while showing us out the door. We scheduled our next appointment and went home. I texted Maria and we waited for her to show up.
