Siya looked around at all the exaggerated expressions directed toward her.

Her brows furrowed slightly.

She looked from one face to another before giving a small shrug.
"What?!"

Almost together, everyone came out of their trance trying to process whether what they had just heard was real or not.

One by one they all shook their heads into a 'nothing' sign and resumed eating as though absolutely nothing had happened.

Meanwhile Ram gulped hard and quietly picked up the mutton keema seekh and passed it to her.
"Here!"

Siya took it happily.
"Thank you!" and immediately began eating it.

Meanwhile others, every now and then their eyes would drift toward Ram then toward Siya and back toward their plates almost as if they were all silently replaying the same moment in their heads.

Did she actually say Papa?
Or did they all collectively have those telepathic delulu moments where everyone heard the same thing?

Who knew.

Tripura too resumed her dinner though her expression remained quiet.

And Ram...
Ram was trying very hard to act normal.

Unfortunately for him, the slight shine in his eyes and the way he suddenly found the food fascinating wasn't helping his case.

Meanwhile Siya happily munched on her seekh swinging her legs beneath the chair completely oblivious to the fact that one accidental word had nearly stopped an entire table from functioning.

The dinner was finally finished and one by one people began retiring for the night.

The wedding was over.
After days of absolute chaos, everyone was finally beginning to feel the exhaustion settling into their bones.

The newlyweds would be leaving for their house tomorrow morning.
So technically, their had to spend the night in farmhouse itself.

Now it was entirely up to them whether they wanted to stay separately for the night or stay together.

Knowing these two...
Or more specifically, knowing Merwin...
The answer had arrived before the question was even properly asked.

"I am staying with my wife."
He had announced shamelessly with pride and immediately earned groans, laughter and multiple teases thrown in his direction.

"Desperate are you!"
Palash declared.

"Very!!"
Aditya teased.

Merwin accepted the allegations proudly.
"Correct!!!"

Bhoomi had hidden her face in embarrassment while everyone laughed harder.

At this point she was too tired to even argue.
The bride was exhausted and simply wanted to sleep.

So after receiving another round of hugs, kisses and warnings from everyone, she disappeared toward her room with her husband.

Meanwhile the others too started leaving one by one.

Some toward their rooms.
Some toward the other side of the lawn still carrying unfinished conversations with them.

Tripura stood near the pathway waiting for her mother.
Her heels were already off and held in one hand.
