The lights turn back on, but Takemichi, Chifuyu, and Chihiro have disappeared. He swore under his breath dialing a number on his phone, "Find them!" Hanma sauntered inside the room, "What's wrong Kisaki~" Kisaki glowered at Hanma, daring him to open his mouth again. "What?" he questioned. Kisaki slammed his leg into Hanma, sending him flying onto the table.
Hanma sat up with a feral grin typical of an excited Hanma. This only seemed to fuel Kisaki's anger at the situation. He punched Hanma who only had time to brace himself. Blood splattered on his face and his hair was disheveled. Hanma looked up at him with a bloody nose, "I don't think now's a good time to tell you Hibiki escaped." Kisaki froze, his eyes bloodshot and several veins popped out.
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?!" he boomed, backhanding him. Hanma smirked, licking the blood on her lip. "Well?!" Kisaki pressed. Hanma cackled, "I left her with eight bodyguards trained to combat Hibiki. Those bodyguards were beaten bloody and unconscious by someone skilled." Kisaki was even more livid. He continued to beat Hanma without holding back.
He didn't stop until Hanma lay bruised and battered. Kisaki slouched in a chair, staring up at the ceiling as he caught his breath. "Those two are so infuriating," he muttered. His mind went back to the look in Chihiro's eyes. Before the look in her eyes was dull and hopeless. Not even five seconds of having her in that dress did the look in her eyes change. She looked angry and combative.
It was like the only thing stopping her from going at him was his leverage against her. He then remembered she received a text from someone before the lights went out. 'Had she been secretly scheming with Chifuyu and Takemichy?' he thought. He looked down hearing Hanma move from his spot on the floor. "You better fix this," Kiskai told him. Hanma smirked, "You want your bitch back huh?"
Kisaki rolled his eyes at Hanma's uncouth comments. "Do you want me to beat you to death?" he rhetorically asked. Excitement flashed in his eyes, "Is that a promise~" Kisaki huffed, taking a swig of the burden in his glass.
*Elsewhere*
Kakucho sat in the driver's seat of an unmarked car. Beside him was Hibiki who looked worse for wear and pissed. In the back seat of the SUV were Kazutora, Chifuyu, Takemichi, and Chihiro. They had been driving silently for a good hour before it was broken. "I really wanted to kick your ass," Kazutora mentioned. Chihiro quirked her brow, "Takemichi, me, or both?" Kazutora let out a dry laugh, "I guess you can say both. So much shit happened because of you two....but I owe you.." Chihiro looked confused, "Me?" He nodded, "What you said so long ago really stuck with me. You were right about everything you said that day. I was trying to escape my reality so I wouldn't have to deal with accepting what really happened. I've been seeing a therapist ever since I was in prison." Chihiro really didn't expect that, "Um, you're welcome."
Hibiki looked back at Chihiro, "It's been a while Chichi." Chihiro nodded, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders knowing she was okay. Hibiki's black roots were showing and she looked like she needed a nice long shower. Her skin was dirty and she had dried blood on her arms and legs. "I won't let this happen to you again," Chihiro stated. Kazutora gave them the run down about everything that went on with Toman. How remnants of Black Dragon joined the folds of Toman.
Kazutora knew that something had to be done about Kisaki's violence and Black Dragon's money. If they didn't Mikey would never return back to normal. Chihiro knew there was more to that. Mikey gave into a darkness inside him that had been festering for years. That darkness only grew as he lost the people who meant the most to him one by one. Shinichiro, Baji, Draken, Emma, and even Izana.
Losing them made this darkness more powerful than it ever was. She still felt bad for not being able to prevent Baji's death. He had died too young. All of them died too young in fact. When Chihiro came back to reality she noticed she was the only one in the car. Her head turned and she saw Takemichi getting arrested by Naoto. She tried to get out of the car when Hibiki slipped into the back seat pressing her down from view.
"Ikki?!" she whispered/yelled. Hibiki shook her head, "We can't have you both getting arrested." Chihiro tried to push her off, but Hibiki refused to budge. "Ugh, damn it!" she cursed. The driver and passenger doors opened and Kakcuho and Kazutora got in. Hibiki only let her up when they began driving away. "You need to go back into the past," Hibiki whispered.
Chihiro wanted more than anything to get out of this future. She didn't like seeing her brother get arrested or Hibiki in this state. Chihiro nodded, and the two girls high-fived each other. There was a shift and Chihiro opened her eyes to find herself on her bike. She was pedaling down the street unsure of where she was supposed to be going. Around this time Takemichi should be at a bowling alley on a date with Hinata.
It was at that time that he became acquainted with Hakkai and Yuzuha. "Stop spacing, Chichi!" Chihiro blinked and glanced back to see Hibiki biking beside her. "Sorry," Chihiro said with a smile. The pinkette grinned, "Future Chichi~" Chihiro gave a breathy laugh, "You can always tell." Hibiki's grin grew as she pedaled faster, "I can always read my BFF!"
Chihiro followed Hibiki to a clothing store in Shibuya. They locked up their bikes and entered the store. Hibiki began dragging Chihiro to many racks of clothing. Chihiro didn't really like these fancy clothing boutiques. She much rather stick to the men's section. Men's clothes had better designs and patterns on their shirts.
"Why the sudden shopping spree?" Chihiro asked. Hibiki held up a blouse to Chihiro's body, "For your date silly." Chihiro was even more gobsmacked at the idea of her going on a date. "With who?" she gasped. Hibiki gave her the 'Are you serious look', "Who else? Kakucho." It felt like a rug had been pulled from under her. "Me?! K-Kakucho?! D-Date?!" she freaked.
Chihiro had gone on a kinda date with Kakucho once. A flood of images flashed through her mind. She remembered Kakucho asking her out on a second date. He had texted her about going to the movies tonight. She of course accepted and here she was. Hibiki didn't approve of her clothing and demanded that she get a new outfit. "What about this?!" Hibiki exclaimed, showing a dress.
A vein popped out on her head and her smile went stiff, "You want me to hurt you." Hibiki put the dress back on the rack, "Just messing around." Chihiro pinched her cheek as Hibiki nervously laughed knowing she pressed the wrong button. "Chi? Ikki?" The girls looked over to see Emma. "Emmy~" Hibiki exclaimed with a big smile. "What are you two up to?" Emma asked.
Chihiro sighed, "Ikki thinks I need a new outfit for my date." Emma's eyes lit up hearing about her date. "Oooh what kind of date?" she squealed. Chihiro was shocked at how excited the two girls were. "It's a movie date," Hibiki told her. She soon found herself being pulled every which way to try and decide on what she should wear.
Eventually, they were dressing her up like some doll. Chihiro sighed after thirty minutes of trying on clothes. She finally decided on some jeans and a black blouse. It wasn't something overly dressy or too casual. After she bought them, they all left the store. 'Hopefully everything goes well,' she mentally hoped.
