Longing

I saw your face today.

Should I be embarrassed by how long I stared at it?

I thought about holding that face;

the feel of your skin, your bones.

I thought about your lips on mine,

as if I could truly feel it.

I thought about how it would feel,

your waist between my thighs,

your chest on mine.

Oh, how I could die happy suffocating in this way;

your breath on my neck, your hands in my hair,

only the electricity between us.

Oh, how I miss that electricity.

Oh, how I miss your love.
