Karmin's POV: ( four days later)
" WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS?!?" I angrily yell at Rocket and Mac who are currently or have been sending me around this base to do pity activities that have no need of me. Both stop in their tracks, turning around to face me with these 'innocent' faces that screamed hiding something. "I don't know what you two are up to, but I'm not going to be your pawn. So tell me what you did or are doing otherwise I will figure it out... After my dinner with Gordon." I add, turning towards the direction of our meeting spot beneath the tree so I can see my boyfriend who is supposed to have some dinner date for me which I was supposed to be at 30 minutes ago.
"Wait! Karmin!" I hear Rocket call after me, but my irritation levels are so high, I continue to my living quarters instead of turning back to ask him what he needed because I knew it would end with me slapping him silly. "You can't go, just yet!" Those words stop me in my tracks and I spin on my heel facing them both, anger clear in my eyes as Mac mutters something along the lines of 'great, you poked the bear and ignited a flame of hunger in its belly.' to Rocket.
"And why not?" I maturely ask, inhaling deeply to keep my calm as he pulls a walkie-talkie from his pocket, something way too cheap to be used for the military efforts here. Assuming it be recreational, I raise my eyebrow. "What does THAT have to do with me not being able to go see my boyfriend who arranged this time for us to meet?"
"Your boyfriend has been speaking through this and trying to get things all ready and perfect for you. We are his distractions and he needs fifteen more minutes so just amuse us and stay here to give him more time." Rocket pleads, a small smile on my lips as I think that they were in on this to help make Gordon and I's first date the best it could be.
I run to the two men, hugging them both at the same time and Mac compliments me as we all pull from the hug. "You smell really good today. What perfume?"
"I'm not sure. Byrd offered me it and said she uses it for special occasions." I shrug, both guys oogling at me in pure shock.
"That's Byrd's?!?" They simultaneously shout, and I chuckle lightly at them, nodding in agreement.
"Yeah. I know. I couldn't believe it either."
"That dress looks absolutely stunning on you by the way." Mac continues his showering of compliments to which I blush, thanking him in a small whisper. I had been shoved into an icy blue gown that gathered at my feet, slimmed at my waist, and held in my breasts perfectly. In this dress I looked voluptuous, I could tell just by looking in the mirror since the slimming also tightened around my bottom. Plus, to add to the sexiness of the gown, there is a slit on my right thigh, so a little skin showed. Black pumps pulled in the black corners of the dark brown eyeshadow smoky look on me.
2 hours Later---------------------------------------------------------------
I stare at Gordon with a goofy smile on my face as he finishes the last of the bittersweet wine before us. He sets the elegant glass onto the table looking at me with a similar goofy smile. "What?" He whines playfully and I smile.
"I didn't take you for the wine type." I laugh, his eyes rolling.
"I was trying to be proper and cute." He groans, a frown creased between his brow as he takes on real worry.
"For what?" I laugh, completely amused by the man I've fallen in love with.
"This isn't perfect. I screwed up." I hear him mutter to himself, laying his head on the edge of the table, Nick holding a platter with a small bundt cake, a flower vase in the middle of it.
