Karmin's P.O.V:
"You're up early!" Nick groans as he sits on the bench across the table from me. I shrug, taking a sip from my water bottle. "If you don't mind, what happened the other day?" He asks, a sigh escaping through my lips.
"My grandmother wrote a letter, dated a day or two before she passed and my best friend sent another message." I briefly respond, his eyes urging me on to continue the explanation. "What? That's all." I lie, turning my gaze to the table.
"Bullshit." He responds, making me shake my head. He goes to urge me on, but then the Lieutenant walks up to us.
"Nick. Get your team up now! There is a bomb threat, west-wing!" He orders, Nick nodding and standing to his feet gracefully.
"Nice grace." I chuckle, Nick rolling his eyes.
"This discussion isn't over." He warns, his body turning away from me.
"I think it is Sargent." I reply.
"You know what? Corporal, go wake Gordon, Bird, and Padre. We have a job to do." He demands as a punishment though it truly wasn't. I shrug and jet off, passing him easily, water bottle in hand.
I approach Mary's building first since it's the closest to the tents. I knock on the door and without a word, open the door, her hair strewn across the pillow case elegantly, body laying on one side of the bed. "Hey! Mary, get up! We have a bomb spotting and if you're going, you need to get dressed." I call, her body rolling over, eyes groggily opening. She looks startled and I apologize before leaving. I then go to Bird's house, closing Mary's door.
"Bird! Wakey, wakey. We have a job." I say through the door. The wooden bulk swings open and she grins at me.
"Long night, Bloom?" She questions.
"Eh. I need to wake up House. Want to come?" I offer, her shoulders shrugging.
"I've nothing better to do so why not." She chuckles, shutting her door and walking with me across the yard to House's living quarters. I knock on the door and there's no reply so I walk in, unlocking it easily. Bird stands in the open doorway, watching as I enter the room.
"Fuck," A whisper sounds, not from me nor Bird, but the man sleeping in the blankets on the bed. I stifle a chuckle, watching with interest as he grips the pillow under his head tightly in a type of frustration. A moan escapes his ajar mouth, making me shaking in silent laughter.
"House, wake up!" I yell, hoping he'd snap out of it. He only turns and then I yell it again, a moan escaping in a breath between his lips. I roll my eyes and then Bird yells the same line, both of us stifling more chuckles as he groans obviously sexually frustrated. Bird and I bellow the same thing, still waiting for the loud tone to awaken him. It's useless. Nick, Kevin, Euan, Mary, and Simon join Bird at the door, all of us yelling at House to get up, but he still only moans and turns back onto his back. I roll my eyes and chuckle lightly before taking his day clothes off the table by the door, throwing that and the walkie at his chest.
House jets up, the blanket falling off his chest to reveal how toned he really is. I look directly in his eyes and roll mine. "Get dressed, Corporal. We've got a job." I smirk, turning on my heel and walking out the door, scooting past Nick and the rest of the team.
Ten Minutes Later
"Come on. All we want to do is help you, Karmin. We are just worried-" Mary gets cut off abruptly by my words.
