"Piece of shit!"
The momentary peace of the room was stolen when a pair of bodies fell into the centre, kicking and scuffling like fighting cats.
Dae-eun only had to spare a glance before she immediately clocked who it was.

Thanos... and that runaway Youtuber, 333.
A number of curses were audible, yelled and hissed between clenched teeth, Thanos' greasy friend trying to separate them.
After all, they don't know we can fight each other without consequences yet.

When they finally got back to their feet, the silence was further reduced by a number of confused and scared mutterings from the onlookers as the situation continued to escalate.
They started fighting on their feet, 2v1, it felt like watching a pair of high school bullies picking on the nerd in the hallway.
333 was soon curled up like a pangolin, desperately protecting his head as Thanos and his friend started to whale on him with kicks.

Dae-eun turned to glance around at the other onlookers, seeing the wide array of reactions.
Fear.
Apathy.
Even satisfaction.

"Oh, to have all that energy..." Dae-ho muttered, drawing Dae-eun's attention, "It's gotta be nice to be that young..."
"That young-?" Dae-eun echoed, "Wait- how old are you?"
"He could get hurt if this continues." Jung-bae interrupted as Dae-ho attempted to answer. "Someone should intervene..."

"Yeah, I know."
Jung-bae gave Dae-ho a knowing look when he made such a dismissive comment, which seemingly made him panic a little.
"W-wait- you mean me, or-?"

The steps creaked as 001 stood up.
"Hey." She spoke, earning herself a raised eyebrow from the man, "What are you doing-?"
"Intervening."

His blunt response prompted a derailing in the girl's train of thought, one quickly exploited as the man turned on his heel and shouldered his way through the two Marines.
Pushing into the metaphorical 'ring', 001 advanced towards the fighters with a casual gait.
"Hey, kids..." He called rather boredly, "What makes you think you can behave like that? Especially while people are eating, and in front of your elders too. It's bad manners, not mention it's two against one."

Every word felt like nails being punched into a coffin, the mutterings in the room silencing as the fighting stopped and every set of eyes turned on him.
"Shame on you."
Dae-eun sat up, her brow drawn together thoughtfully.

What the hell are you doing...

Thanos chewed his lip, swaying back and forth like a drunken boxer, his eyes clearly sizing the older man up.
He gave a joking scoff to his friend before replying, "You're lecturing me when you ended up in here too, grandad?"
Dae-eun could sense a kind of quiet fury radiating off 001 even from this distance, the tips of his fingers twitching together, as if he was itching to put the younger man in his place.

Thanos made a jabbering gesture with his hand, "How about... instead of yip-yapping at me, you head back home to your own kids and yell at them?"
Silence fell, nobody moved.
Dae-eun saw just how slow 001 blinked as he looked at Thanos, the fury beyond his gaze blazing hotter by the second, ready to explode.

"What did you say-?" Though delivered rather unassumingly, the white-haired girl could taste the hint of a final warning.
A last chance to apologise for his behaviour.
And she watched Thanos squander it.

He sneered, deciding to get even closer to the beast unknowingly bearing down on him, who offered him mercy.
"I said... save the lecture... for your own k—"
He didn't even get chance to finish before 001 clutched his throat closed, a calm and swift movement, one that spoke of experience.
