Next morning ~

Jungkook pulls out his phone, his thumb hovering over Mingyu's contact. He hesitates briefly before dialing, reminding himself to keep the conversation professional. After not reaching Mingyu, Jungkook scrolls through his contacts and calls Junseok instead. When Junseok answers, Jungkook speaks in a casual tone. "Hey Junseok, it's Jungkook. I was trying to reach Mingyu but he didn't pick up."

"Oh, Hyung! Good to hear from you. Actually, I sent Mingyu to Singapore a few days ago. We have a lot of unfinished work there at the branch office. He's been quite busy, that's why he couldn't take your call."

Jungkook's brow furrows slightly as he processes Junseok's words. "Singapore, huh? I didn't know we had that much work there. Why did you send Mingyu all the way there when we have enough to handle here?" He asks curiously, his business mind kicking in.

"We had a surge of leave requests this month, hyung. Most of our key personnel are on leave, so I thought it would be best to send Mingyu to handle the situation personally. He'll be back in a month or so. Don't worry, hyung. He's handling things well,"

"Ah, I see. The leave surge, of course. Well, good thinking sending Mingyu then. He does have a knack for handling crises." Jungkook chuckles softly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Anyway, thanks for letting me know, Junseok. I appreciate it."
After Jungkook hangs up the call, Junseok think about there plan with a small smile. "Everything is done, . Mingyu is in Singapore, handling the branch office. Our plans are in motion now." He whispers

After ending the call with Junseok, Jungkook makes his way to the living room, his mind buzzing with thoughts. He sits down on the couch, staring blankly at the wall as he thinks about Mingyu's absence and the unfinished business between them.
As Jungkook sits in the living room, nursing a cup of coffee, Y/n enters from the kitchen with another steaming cup. "You're awake, Good morning" she says softly, offering him the coffee.

Jungkook looks up as Y/n approaches, his face softening into a gentle smile. "Morning," he replies, taking the offered coffee. "Thanks for this." He takes a sip, his gaze never leaving her face.
"It's not a problem at all. I remembered how much you love your morning coffee." Y/n sits down beside him, her hands clasped around her own mug. "Did you sleep well? I noticed you went to bed earlier than usual."

Jungkook's eyes widen in surprise, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. "How did you...?" He trails off, looking at Y/n with a mix of shock and curiosity. "I don't think I've ever mentioned my coffee preference or sleep schedule to anyone."

"Oh, that's right! Junseok mentioned it once. He said you're like clockwork with your routines." Y/n shrugs nonchalantly, trying to downplay how much she actually knows about Jungkook's habits.
Jungkook nods slowly, his surprise gradually replaced by amusement. "Ah, that makes sense. Junseok does pay close attention to my habits." He takes another sip of his coffee, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiles at Y/n.

"I should probably head to Jhope oppa's room and check on him. Make sure he's up and ready for the day." Y/n stands up, stretching casually. "Catch you later, Mr Jeon . Enjoy your coffee."

Jungkook watches as Y/n stretches, a flicker of jealousy passing through him at the mention of checking on Jhope. He quickly masks his expression, nodding with a casual smile.
After Y/n leaves for Jhope's room, Jungkook retreats to his own room, carrying his coffee with him. He sets the mug down on his bedside table and picks up his phone, navigating to his gallery.
Scrolling through the photos, he finds the ones he took of the producer Min Yoongi's posts, zooming in on the blurry faces in the background. His heart races as he zeros in on one face that bears an uncanny resemblance to him. Jungkook's brow furrows as he examines the blurry photo more closely, his mind reeling. Six people in total, one clearly identifiable as Min Yoongi, and a girl among them. The others are obscured, but that one face... it's too similar to be a coincidence.
