𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐀𝐈𝐑 in a Pamela Anderson updo, and walked into the nursery, sitting in the rocking chair as she caressed her baby bump. Erica was now 9 months pregnant and was due to go into labor any day now. She was also becoming less tolerant to certain foods. There was no doubt that she was excited to finally hold her baby girl, but these past few weeks have been the hardest for her, especially since she was put on bed rest, and she hasn't been able to work, when she wanted to be taking care of her patients.
"We were wondering where you ran off to." Ava smiled as she and Bobby walked into the nursery. Since both of them had the day off, they decided to visit their daughter in Beverly Hills. "Are you feeling all right?"
Erica smiled and nodded as she caressed her baby bump, then her smile faultered. "I just can't stop thinking about the Sekai Taikai. I can't believe that boy got killed. He was so young and misguided, but he had a full life a head of him."
"I know sweetheart." Ava said, taking a seat on the ottoman in front of her daughter's rocking chair. "Your father and I had a feeling it was going to turn deadly."
"With Kreese it was only a matter of time." Bobby said. "How are you feeling though?"
Erica glanced down at her baby bump, then back at her parents. "I'm feeling better than I did yesterday. I just can't wait to meet her. I love her so much and I haven't even met her yet. It's crazy. I know she'll love Connor, but I'm just nervous about her meeting me. I'm nervous about the kind of mother I'll be."
"Sweetheart, don't you even doubt that for a second." Ava said. "You'll be an excellent mother."
"Your mother's right honey." Bobby said. "Look how good you were with those babies in the nursery up at the church."
"I know, but this is different." Erica said. "What if I make the wrong decision when it comes to raising her? I want to be the mother se deserves."
"Sweetheart, I hate to tell you, but there's no such thing as a perfect parent." Ava said. "You're going to make mistakes in parenting, that's the ride, but at the end of the day, we know you'll make the right decisions when it comes to raising her. Don't doubt yourself."
"You and dad were and still are the perfect parents in my opinion." Erica said.
"Honey, your mother and I are far from perfect." Bobby said, and Ava nodded in agreement. "We made mistakes, but everything we ever did and do, well, that's to protect you. You'll find that no matter how old little Lucy is, you and Connor will do everything in your power to protect her, and so will we."
