A/N: New chapter. There is a lot of back and forth between different POV's so pay attention to whoever's section you're reading to avoid confusion. Hope you enjoy.

-Clarke POV-

I mess with the lock on Anya's cage. "I'm gonna get you out of here."

Carl stands up, going over to a wall and yanking a pipe off of it. He walks back, sticking it in the padlock, and he breaks it off.

"Alright. Come on." I start to help Anya out.

The sound of beeping gets our attention as the door begins to open.

"Get back in." I push her in, joining her.

Carl shuts the cage, picking up the pipe and broken lock before going and hiding behind a wall.

Someone, who I recognize as Dr Tsing, grabs something.

Anya goes to open the cage, most likely planning to attack.

"Hey. No." I shake my head.

The grounder prisoners groaning catches Tsing's attention. She starts walking over, inspecting the cages.

Carl grips the pipe, going around the cages. He raises the pipe.

However grounders reaching out their hands make Tsing flinch and start walking back.

Carl luckily gets back behind the cages.

"Okay." I say once she's gone. "We've got to go. Now."

Carl pulls open a heavy door. I walk in, helping Anya walk. The room is small, with what looks like a trapdoor on the floor.

An alarm suddenly blares as the door shuts tightly.

"What is this?" Carl looks around.

"I don't-"

The trapdoor we are standing on suddenly opens up, dropping all of us down a chute.

We land hard in a cart.

When I look around I see it's filled with dead grounder bodies. "Oh my god."

Anya stares at the bodies.

Carl gets up, helping me up. "Anya." He holds his hand out. "Anya."

She snaps out of it, taking his hand as we hop out of the cart.

"We're out." I realize, looking around at the tunnel.

"Hey." Carl gets my attention. "Clothes." He motions to a pile of clothing.

"Come on. Let's get dressed. We can't cover any ground like this."

Carl looks back at Anya. "Anya?"

"I won't leave my people behind." She continues to stare at the bodies, referring to the grounders still locked in the cages.

Carl nudges her softly. "Our people are still inside too, but they have guards. A lot of them. And their weapons would beat us. If we get out then we can find help, come back."

"There is no 'we'."

"Y/N can help us. But we have to-"

The sound of a man speaking indistinctly catches our attention.

"Someone's coming."

A light from a torch is seen coming from a curve.

"Not just someone, Reapers." I realize.

"What?" Carl looks at me.

Anya goes and attempt to pick up a hefty rock.

"Hey. Anya, you can't fight. You can hardly stand." I keep her steady.
