A/N: New chapter.
Flashback - Ten Years Ago
A woman is hiding behind a curtain.
Then, the curtain gets yanked open by a boy, about seven years old. "Found you."
The woman giggles. "Yes, you did." She ruffles the boy's hair. "You're such a little tracker, Y/N."
The boy smiles.
Flashback End - Present Day
I am laying on a makeshift table. My shirt was off so Clarke could get the knife easily. A storm was raging outside. Raven was trying to get the radio working.
I was in and out of it. I could feel the knife, though if I didn't move much it wasn't as bad.
Clarke walks over and undoes the cloth around the knife, she stares at my wound worried. She wraps a clean cloth around it. She looks at me and runs her fingers through my hair. "You're gonna be okay. Please be okay." She grips my hand.
I breathe heavily as I pass out once more.

-Kane POV-
I was standing next to Abby in the council room.
Jaha stared at us. "Abigail Griffin, you have thefts of medical supplies, illegal salvaging, unauthorized ship launch, and pirating the Ark's comm systems. Each crime is punishable by death. But that will not be your fate today."
Abby is relieved and we hear some static. "What was that?" I ask.
"Never mind it." Jaha answers. "Marcus Kane, for years you have let crimes go unpunished. That would have you lose your position as head guard, and a guard in general. However, you kept three hundred people alive. Therefore, you keep your position; as well as your seat on the council as you've only done one crime."
"Thank you." Abby tells him.
"Don't. The council voted were nearly unanimous. It was best thought that you both are best kept alive and safe thanks to your expertise of medical and guardianship skills."
I nod in understanding. "Now we have to talk about those flares."
"No, we don't."
Abby looks at Jaha confused. "Don't you know what this means? The 100 are alive."
"We don't know that. This could be... anything."
I shake my head. "With all due respect, Chancellor. That wasn't lightning or radiation from the atmosphere. People are alive down there."
Jaha raises his hand to stop me. "We will discuss it later. As it is a council matter. While Marcus was able to keep his seat, Abby you didn't. Hand in your pin."
Abby looks surprised, but takes off her pin and hands it to Jaha. She gives me a look and I give a nod, meaning I'll talk to the council about the flares.
We hear more static, and it sounded stronger. "There it is again."
Then, something none of us could've imagined happened. We hear a voice. "Calling Ark station." The voice kept cutting in and out.
"Raven." Abby says, recognizing the voice. "She's alive." She rushes out of the room and I follow, Jaha trailing behind.
We get into the main comms area. "Have you confirmed the signal's location?"
"Yes, sir. It's coming from Earth."
Abby grabs the microphone. "Raven, can you hear me?"
After a few seconds, another voice speaks. "Mom?" It was Clarke.
