Johnny and I walked into the Curtis house. Dallas was sitting in a chair. Two-bit in the same spot on the couch. Sodapop and Steve had gone out with their girlfriends. Ponyboy was in his room doing homework. I had no idea where Darrel was but he had to be nearby.

"Hey sweets." Dallas said leaning back in his chair. The smirk on his face was starting to get revolting.

"Asswipe. I mean Dallas." I said with all seriousness but he laughed anyway.

"Did you and lover boy have a nice walk?" Dallas said with jealousness in his voice.

"Yes. We had a lovely time. Thanks." I said dryly. Johnny looked at me with daggers. I knew I should've been nicer. It's kinda hard to around Dallas.

"Next time I'm going though." Dally said looking serious.

"Cool I bet you and lover boy will have fun!" I said giggling.

"So Dal, are you going to take her out already or not?" Two-bit said yawning. Then he stared at Dallas waiting for an answer.

"Nah. She isn't interested." Dallas said as he walked out the door and slammed it.

"DAMMIT!" I yelled and did the same. "DALLAS!" I yelled to the shadow across the yard. He moved fast and was still walking.

"What the hell do you want?" He said stopping but not turning around.

"Where are you stayin?" I asked with a small voice.

"Bucks." He said turning around trying to study my thoughts. When he figured it out he smiled. "Unless someone else wants me to stay with them."

"Well do you?" I asked.

"Do I what?" He said cheekily.

"So, do you want to stay at my house tonight or not? Because..." He cut me off just like I was hoping he would.

"Yes. Ill stay the night."

"Well I guess I'll have to sleep on the couch then." I said looking at him.

"Nah. I'll sleep on the couch. Don't worry about it. But I'm waking you up early so you can leave work early."

"Fine but I have to stay as long as Soda and Steve say. I'm not getting fired on my second day." We walked to my house and I gave him a pillow and blanket. I walked back to my room and hopped into bed. Tomorrow was going to be a long day. I could tell already.
