Soda came soon after. "What did I tell you about walking around by yourself? I'm just glad Steve was around or Dan would've done worse." Soda said with a disappointed look in his face.
"I'm sorry Soda. I was just tryin to get home. I didn't think he was still following me." Soda took a hold of me and held me in his arms.
"I just don't want you to get hurt Jess. I really care about you." As if I wouldn't tell by the bear hug he was giving me. This just made me miss Dallas even more. I shouldn't let anyone know that.
"Oh so you move on that fast?" Dan said referring to me and Soda.
"Dan why don't you go find another girl to harrass?!" Soda said snapping at him.
"Because I like this one" Dan said winking at me. We were almost at the Curtis home when Dallas walked up behind me and Soda. Dan smiled and made sure we knew Dally was behind us.
"Oh look! It's my brother. Dallas, don't you think Soda and Jess look beautiful together? I mean my opinion is invalid, I mean the ex has to decide!"
"Dan why don't you fuck off?" Dallas said walking into the house. Soda and I followed him.
"Well don't you have some nerve. Thanks brother." Dan yelled before walking off.
