"Do you wanna leave?" Two-bit said.




"No, but if he comes near me, be ready to leave." I said watching Dally walk up to the counter. The girl who was with him turned around and looked straight at me. She whispered something in Dallas's ear. Her and Dally started laughing. I saw Dallas start to turn around and thats when I got up.




"So, I'm guessing you want to leave now?" Two-bit said grabbing his coke and standing up. I grabbed my fries and coke and nodded.




"Jess, where ya goin?" I heard a fimillar voice yell across the Dingo. The same voice that told me about Dally. Dan. I kept looking torward the door, not heading in either of the boys directions. "I know you can hear me Jessica."




"Come on Two-bit." I said grabbing his arm and walking torward the door. We got past the DX before i heard Dan again. Two-bit had gone home. So this time none of the guys were with me. I was sure Steve was working today. Soda had the day off so he could take care of Pony. That never stopped him from hanging out at the DX though.




"Jess, since you and Dallas are through you should come and play with me. It'll be fun. Me and you, we just connect right?" Dan said grabbing me by the waist.




"Let me go!! Dammit don't touch me!!!" I screamed trying to fight out of his arms. He turned me around so I was facing him. As I struggled he kept laughing.




"Common babe, don't fight it." He said pulling me tighter. I heard a car door slam and footsteps coming toward us.




"You let her go now or I'll kill you." I heard Steve say pulling me away from Dan. Took him long enough. Once I was a good distance away from Dan, Steve knocked him square in the jaw. Dan fell to the ground, unconscious.




"Go inside. I'll call Soda and get him to come and get you." Steve said walking into the garage.




"Thanks Steve." I said and he threw his hand up as in return.
