Jen can hear the water running from her room. She gets out of bed and knocks on the door.

"Lex! You alright in there? Pretty soon I'm gonna have to charge you with the water bill." She says jokingly.

She doesn't get a response.

She knocks again, this time a little harder. "Lex?"

Startled by the noise, she wakes up. "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." She stands up and cuts the water off.

She snatches the towel off the rack and wraps it around herself. She opens the door and when she walks back to the room,  Jen is sitting on the bed.

"Lex, what's really going on? You got shit-face drunk tonight because of the break up? The last time we talked, you seemed as if you didn't even want to be with Ken."

Lex looks up at Jen with the saddest eyes.

"No. That isn't it.. My best friend died..she died and I think Kenya had more to do with it than she's admitting." She sits down on the bed next to Jen.

Jen wraps her arm around Lex's shoulder. "Wow..I'm so sorry to hear that.. But Kenya? Kenya's not a murderer Lex."

Lex takes a deep breath and looks at Jen.

"You don't know her if you really think that, Jen.. The bitch is psycho. Today, she told me that she's my best friend's sister? However the fuck that's even possible.. And for that, she's got a good sum of money out of it and if I know Ken, I know she does whatever she has to for some money. Hell, she had a brand new Jag parked out front..trying to bribe me. But I don't think she would've destroyed mine if she couldn't replace it. She killed her.. I know it." Lex goes on.

"Damn, I ..I didn't know.. So, what's next then? What do we do? I'm behind you on whatever.. I can help." Jen says.

Lex raises her eyebrows and laughs a little. "We? No. You stay out of this, I don't need anything happening to you. I don't know what my next move is, but she's gonna go down for this.. Her and whoever else is involved."

Jen looks as if she's a little insulted. She stands up and grabs Lex by the arm. "Come, I'll show you something."

Lex gets up and follows her. They walk all through the house to get to the back door. They step out and cross the backyard. There's a smaller brick built shed ahead of them. The windows are bolted down and the door has a chained padlock on the front.

Jen reaches into her bra and pulls out a key. She unlocks the door and pulls the chains down to the floor. She opens the door and walks in, Lex follows. It's pitch black inside. When Jen hits the lights, Lex's eyes widen as she looks around the shed.

"Jen, where the hell you get all these guns from?"

Jen chuckles. "I'm not as innocent as I look. I got them a while back. My dad taught me how to shoot them all.. I'm pretty good actually. I got out and practice back in the woods every weekend."

The walls are loaded with literally every gun you can think of. From 9mm pistols to 8mm machine guns. There's also wide barrel weapons and grenades.

Lex is both shocked and amazed.

"May I?" Lex asks, looking at Jen as she motions to pick up a rifle.

"Go ahead.. If you do decide to retaliate, whatever you need.. Just take it." Jen says. "And if you need an extra set of hands and eyes, I got you."

Lex is fascinated by the rifle. She sets it down for a second to hug Jen. "Thank you, thank you so much. And I'm sorry if I offended you back there."
