When Lex regains her strength, she gets up and stumbles inside to call the police.

She reports the whole incident, giving the police a description of Kenya's car, along with the license plates.

After hanging up with the officer, she calls Terri.

The phone rings..

"Hello?" Terri picks up.

"Tee! This bitch destroyed my fucking car! I'm gonna kill her!" Lex yells.

"Kenya?" Terri asks

"Yes! With a baseball bat!"

Lex can hear Terri shuffling around.

"Oh hell no, I'm on my way NOW". The phone hangs up.

Lex makes her way to the bathroom to clean herself up. Then she goes outside and starts to sweep up all the broken glass from the driveway. She uses her fingers for the larger pieces and the broom for the smaller ones.

Just as she finishes up, a car pulls up on the grass. It's Terri.

She climbs out of the car with her mouth wide open.

"Oh my.. Oh my god! Lex, how the fuck.. Where this bitch at?!" She walks up to Lex.

"She left in her car." Lex answers.

"You let her leave?! Oh hell no, get in the car! We gonna go find her ass." Terri grabs Lex by the arm.

She gets in on the passenger side.

"Putcha seat belt on." Terri says as she puts the car in reverse. She drives in reverse all the way down the street until she hits the corner.

"She was with her best friend, I'll show you where his house is, it isn't too far from here."

Lex directs Terri to where Lonnie lives.

When they finally find the house, they get out and search the premises. Kenya's car isn't there.

"Where the fuck could they possibly be?" Terri asks.

Lex's phone rings. "Hello?" she answers.

"Yes, Mrs. Latimore? This is officer James. We've found the car that fits the description."

Lex screams. "Oh my god, thank you! You found her."

"Well not exactly.." the officer says.

Lex changes her tone of voice.. "What do you mean not exactly? If you got the car, then you have the girl! Where's the car?"

"The car was retrieved from the bottom of the Hudson Creek, ma'am.. But there's no one inside. Looks like they got out."

Lex raises her voice. "The Creek?! What? Okay. Thanks." She hangs up the phone.

Terri and Lex drive around the area, looking for Kenya.

"She's gotta be on foot." Terri says, with her eyes wondering around.

"Shit!" Lex exclaims, "They have to be at Kaymen's!"

Terri makes a U-turn and heads toward the direction of the club. She takes the back alley way to get there.

As they're pulling up through the dark alley, they see Kenya and Lonnie standing outside the club. They're talking to a group of people, possibly Kenya's co-workers.

No one notices Terri's car creeping up behind them. She turns the head lights off and stops the car.

"What do you wanna do?" Terri asks, looking at Lex and squeezing her hands around the steering wheel.

Lex is staring out, looking at Kenya. She pulls her seat belt tight across her chest. Making sure it's secure.

"Hit her." She says, looking over at Terri.

"You sure?" Terri asks, slowly easing her foot off the brakes.

"Yep." Lex answers quick and humble.

Terri takes a deep breath in and steps on the gas, driving directly into the crowd.

They finally see the car and a few people run to get out of the way, but Kenya's back is turned which makes her an easier target.

The impact of the hit causes Kenya's body to roll up under the car.

Terri stops the car abruptly and Lex jumps out.

She walks behind the car and drags Kenya from under the vehicle. "Stupid ass bitch, you thought I wouldn't find you?" Lex kneels down and starts to beat Kenya in the face without realizing she's already unconscious.

Lonnie runs over and kicks Lex in the ribs. She falls over, off of Kenya.

"What the fuck did you do?!" he yells. "Someone please, call a fucking ambulance!"

Lex gets up and jumps back in the car. "Terri C'mom we gotta go!"

Terri speeds off in the opposite direction of where they came in.

Lex turns in her seat, looking back at Kenya's still body.

They ride out into the city.

"We can't stay around here, we're gonna need a room for a few nights."

Lex is still in shock. "I think we need to skip town."

"No! That's too suspicious. We just need to check into a hotel a few miles from town and keep a low profile for a few days."

Terri makes a stop at Lex's apartment and her place.
They each pack a bag and grab a few of their necessities.

They get back into the car and drive around looking for a suitable hotel.

Lex puts her head down. "Fuck, I called the police. I shouldn't have.. Now they're gonna know who did it. I'm fucked!" She stresses to Terri.

"But you didn't do it, I did."

"No!" Lex yells, "I'm not gonna let you go down for this. We're looking at attempted murder. If anything happens, I did this."

"But Lex you didnt.."

Lex cuts her off, "No buts Terri! I don't care what you say."

"Okay, Alright." Terri agrees.

They finally pull up to a hotel about 30 miles from the city.

They walk inside and Lex approaches the man at the front desk. She books a room for 5 nights. She uses cash just in case her card can be traced.

They carry their luggage up to the room and settle in. Before going to bed, they hug each other to reassure that they'll get through this.

"Good night Tee" Lex says, "Thank you for having my back."

Terri flips the light switch off "Don't sweat it. I told you, I got you." They both fall asleep soon after, worn out from a long day.
