Unfold:CH7:Pt1

Mia sits Lex up in a chair near the window. Then she walks over to the dresser and picks up Lex's phone.

She blocks all incoming calls from the county jail and clears all the history.

Then she makes a call on her own phone, and leaves a message for her dad, Sheriff Noles. She quietly whispers into the phone: "Hey, dad? I need you to do what I asked you to earlier. I did what you told me and it worked. She's knocked out. All I need is the message. She won't notice."

When Mr. Noles finally gets the voicemail, he goes into the evidence locker at the station and confiscates Terri's cell phone.

He attempts to send the most convincing text message to Lex's phone from Terri's.

This is what the message reads: "Lex, I'm so sorry.. But I can't do this anymore. I can't help you.. I got released an hour ago.. They told me I could go if I told them the truth, so I did. I told them everything. Please don't try to contact me. By the time you get this message, my phone will no longer be in my possession. I'm leaving town.. You have to figure this out on your own.. Goodbye."

After the message is sent, Officer Noles deletes it from Terri's phone as if it were never sent.

Once Mia see's that the text was sent to Lex's phone, she goes into the other room and makes another phone call.

Mia turns and walks toward the door. "I'll go get you some water." But before she reaches the threshold, Lex yells. "No! No, I'm fine."

Mia turns around, with an obvious look of disappointment. She climbs in the bed beside Lex. "Maybe it'll help if you didn't have on all these clothes." Mia says, suggesing that Lex should strip.

Lex's vision returns abruptly. She yawns and stretches her arms out. "How long was I out?" She asks, looking at the time.

"Not long. Maybe an hour." Mia answers.

Mia leans in to kiss Lex but she pulls away as she notices the notification light coming from her phone.

She grabs the phone from off the dresser and opens the message from Terri. Her expression completely changes as she continues to read on. She looks horrified and livid all in one.

She throws the phone across the room at the wall, causing Mia to jump in fear.

Mia reaches her arm over, gently touching Lex on the shoulder. "What? What's wrong?" She asks.

"Fucking Terri! This can't be happening right now. She wouldn't betray me like this and just run off! Something isn't right!" Lex gets out of the bed, furious.
