[Extra Story: What Happened After Roel and Raizel Met Arzen at the Café]

Roel sank into the plush leather seat of the car, one hand casually swirling his iced Americano while the other tapped a slow rhythm against his knee. The car pulled smoothly onto the road, the low hum of the engine filling the silence between him and Raizel, who had already settled into his seat, book flipped open like nothing had happened.

Roel glanced at him, then at his coffee, then back at him again.

"Alright, spill."

Raizel didn't even look up. His fingers turned a page with unhurried precision.

"Spill what?"

Roel scoffed, throwing one arm over the back of his seat as he turned fully toward Raizel.

"You know what. That guy. Arzen. You knew him, and not just 'he's my classmate' kind of knew him. What's the deal?"

Raizel remained utterly unbothered, his gaze never leaving his book.

"He's my classmate."

Roel let out an exaggerated sigh, leaning his head back against the seat.

"Come on, you expect me to believe that? You were staring at him like he was a particularly interesting puzzle, and I know you don't look at just anyone like that."

Silence.

Roel's eyes narrowed. He took a sip of his coffee, then nudged Raizel's knee with his foot.

Raizel didn't react.

"Oh, so that's how it is?" Roel smirked, shifting in his seat to face Raizel fully. "Don't tell me you—"

Roel immediately shut his mouth, watching as Raizel slowly turned his head to him with the kind of calm that should've been reassuring, but instead, made him feel like he was about to be shoved out of a moving vehicle.

"...You're annoying."

Roel propped an elbow on the car door, resting his cheek against his palm as his lips stretched into an easy grin.

"So cold, Raizel. You used to worship the ground I walked on. What happened?"

Raizel turned a page.

Roel sighed dramatically, leaning back into his seat.

"Man, kids really do grow up and abandon you, huh?"

Roel placed a hand over his chest, feigning heartbreak.

"First, you start ignoring my messages, and now, you're throwing 'you're annoying' at me like I'm some random guy on the street. What's next? Are you going to start calling me Mr. Roel?"

Raizel didn't even blink.

Roel chuckled, shaking his head.

"You know, that kid is cute. And interesting."

No response.

Roel took another sip of his coffee, swirling the cup absentmindedly as he watched Raizel from the corner of his eye.

"I don't know why, but even when I met him at the jeweler, it felt like he knew me somehow."

Raizel finally moved, but only to turn another page.

"You do realize you're a famous singer, right?"

Roel gasped, clutching his chest.

"Aww, don't make me blush."

Raizel ignored him completely.

Roel huffed, slumping dramatically in his seat.

"Come on, Raizel, play along a little. This car ride is getting dull."

Still nothing.

Roel tapped his fingers against his coffee cup, his gaze drifting to the passing city lights outside the window.

"But really, I wasn't talking about that. It wasn't the usual 'oh wow, a celebrity' kind of look. It was something else."

Raizel remained unreadable, his book still firmly in place.

Roel grinned.

"You don't think he actually knew me, do you? Like, from a past life or something?"

He wiggled his fingers dramatically.

"Oooo, what if we were tragic lovers who were torn apart by fate? And now we've met again in this lifetime?"

Raizel finally turned his head to look at Roel, his expression blank.

Roel winked.

"What, no reaction? You're really killing the mood here."

Roel chuckled.

"Alright, fine. Maybe not that. But I do think there's something about him."

Silence.

Roel's grin faded slightly as he stared at the dark liquid in his cup.

"He's got this vibe, you know? Like he's... not supposed to be here."

His fingers tapped lightly against the plastic lid.

"Like he's somewhere he doesn't belong."

Raizel didn't react, but the way his fingers subtly gripped the edges of his book didn't escape Roel's notice.

Roel stretched out his legs, sighing.

"Man, I can't figure it out, but for some reason, I keep thinking about him."

He shot Raizel a smirk.

"That ever happened to you?"

Raizel didn't answer.

Roel let out a quiet chuckle, resting his head back against the seat.

"Yeah. Thought so."
