it's sha'ban now.
alhamdulilah that has granted us life to witness this month and in sha allah we will live to witness ramadan soon.
شهر شعبان
السلف الصالح سمّوه (شهر القُرّاء)
عن أنس رضي الله عنه أنه قال: "كان المسلمون إذا دخل شعبان، انكبوا على المصاحف ، وأخرجوا زكاة أموالهم؛ تقوية للضعيف والمسكين على صيام رمضان"
The month of Shaaban, The righteous predecessors, name it the month of reciters
On the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, that he said: "When Shaaban began, the Muslims would focus on the Qur'an and pay the zakat on their wealth, to strengthen the weak and needy in fasting Ramadan."
