M/n, Sakura, and Sasuke were patiently waiting on a bridge for Naruto and Kakashi, but the longer they took, the more they became impatient
"Dude, where are these two?!" M/n groaned, leaning over the railing as he looked at the water below them from an upside down position.
Suddenly, they heard rapid footsteps approaching, revealing the one and only blonde teammate himself. He approached Sakura first with a smile. "Hey, good morning, Sakura. What's up?"
Naruto's eyes turned to the Uchiha boy, instantly giving him the stink eye. Sasuke also stared at Naruto. "Humph." They both turned away pettily.
M/n sighed, shaking his head in disbelief. "Kids these days." He took out a pocket watch from his pants and loudly groaned. "It's almost 9. If Kakashi-sensei doesn't arrive in around 10 minutes, he'll wish to change teams!"
The team waited for almost an hour before Kakashi finally showed up, waving at them from above the entrance of the bridge. "Hey, guys. Good morning. Sorry, I'm late. Afraid I got lost on the path of life."
"Gaah!" M/n, Sakura, and Naruto yelled angrily, looking like they were ready to jump Kakashi.
"I'm going to put itching powder on his bed." M/n muttered, glaring at his team leader. "I hope he wakes up bald." Sasuke dryly chuckled, nudging the h/c haired male to pay attention to Kakashi's news.
"I'm ready for the next ninja mission, Sensei." Naruto excitedly exclaimed, looking at Kakashi with stars in his eyes. "And hey, come on. No more of this dumb beginner stuff, okay? I want a chance to prove myself. I'm talking a real mission where I could show what I'm made of. Aah!" Naruto got fired up, fire behind him. "I got to break out and burn it up! See?"
"Uh, right. I get it. That's great, Naruto." Kakashi raised his hand, calming the boy down before he could get even crazier. "Now, take it easy, would you?"
Naruto snapped his head towards Sasuke, who noticed his gaze. He raised his arms in a fighting position, glaring at the Uchiha. "Believe it!"
"This guy.." M/n shook his head before he bonked Naruto's head, snapping the blonde haired ninja out of his thoughts.
"Ah!" Naruto grabbed his head in pain, muttering curses at M/n.
"Let's us know when you're done fantasizing, Naruto, so we can start the mission. All right?"
"Right!"
"Could you not be so annoying, Naruto, just for once?"
Time Skip to their first mission
Team 7 were on a lady's backyard, pulling out weeds from her grass.
M/n snatched a weed from in between the grass, looking at it with discontent. "How'd we go from an A-rank mission to this?"
