M/n turned his body and grabbed onto the nearest branch, he groaned as he pulled himself up, sighing in relief. "Man, now I'm lost."
He cupped his mouth, calling out his team but he heard no reply from them. "Where could those goobers be?" He jumped through the trees, stepping repeatedly on thick, moss-covered branches. He suddenly stopped when he heard a familiar sound.
He landed on the ground, watching Naruto stand up from being upside down, previously leaned on the tree. "Naruto!"
Naruto whipped his head and grinned, once seeing his friend. "M/n, there you are!" He ran towards him, raising his hand and bumping their fists together.
"We have to find the others, they could be in trouble." M/n lowly stated, glancing at every corner of the forest, trying to sense any chakra from either Sakura or Sasuke.
They suddenly heard the ground crack and the light was blocked from their sight. They looked up to see a massive snake looking at them with sharp eyes and its tongue out.
"That's a big snake." M/n stated as he stepped behind Naruto. "You think you can take that out?"
"Of course not! You take it out!" Naruto grabbed M/n's shoulders and pushed him towards the snake.
"You wish! It's so ugly and scary!"
The snake wrapped its tail around them, holding them tight enough so they don't escape. They yelled as they trashed around, calling for help.
"I can't move!" Naruto groaned, feeling his bones being crushed under the heavy pressure.
They both screamed when the snake opened its mouth wide and swallowed them both in one bite, gulping them down in its throat. Their voices died down, mixing with the wind that blew through the leaves.
M/n and Naruto struggled against the slimy flesh that pushed them against each other, cutting off their ability to move around.
"Let us out of here!" Naruto's eyebrows furrowed, slowly grabbing a kunai and stabbing the snake's insides but it made no damage. "I'll make you sorry you ever swallowed us, you stinking jerk! Let us out!"
Naruto got an idea and offered the snake his riceball that he was having later for lunch. It slipped from his hands and landed deeper into the snake's stomach. It digested into nothing.
"We're gonna die!" M/n exclaimed, vigorously moving around to make space. He raised his legs and kicked the snake, yelling out profanities to the animal. "I'm not going to die in a place like this. It's so uncool!"
Suddenly, Naruto screamed when he felt himself being dragged deeper. "M/n! Help me!" The said boy outstretched his hand, his fingertips grazing Naruto's.
