M/n slowly sat up as his body twitched, his head hanging. He felt a warm sensation on his face. He touched his face and looked at his hand to see blood. "He cut my face?!"
"Where is he? Where's the needle attack coming at us from? Are they clones?" Another after another, Naruto asked questions that swirled around his mind. He stood up, looking at the various mirrors. "We've gotta find the real one! Which one is it?"
"Look into every mirror as hard as you like. You will never learn the secret." Haku said which seemed a challenge to Naruto.
"Oh, yeah?" He made his signature hand seal. "Shadow close jutsu!"
"No don't!" Sasuke yelled but it was too late. A bunch of Naruto clones jumped out of the smoke and attacked the mirrors.
"You've got 100 mirrors, then 100 of me will smash them all. Then I'll find where you really are!" Haku jumped into mirror from mirror in an extreme fast way, striking every clone in the process.
The clones all disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving the real Naruto to land on the ground, next to M/n. "That looked like a pretty bad fall, man." He oofed, helping Naruto get back on his feet.
"These mirrors only reflect my image, allowing me to transport myself at light speed." Haku stated, looking at them with the same intensity since the start of the battle. "Through my eyes, you appear to be moving in slow motion."
"Fast enough to see us moving slow.." M/n muttered, pursing his lips in thought. 'Could it be a Kekkei Genkai? He must be from a clan.' He analyzed Haku from head to toe, the dots connecting.
"I couldn't break through."
"Huh?" Sasuke and M/n looked at Naruto who had a shadow casted on his face. "So what? He's not going to stop me. I'm not giving up, and I'm not going to lose here. Because I have a dream, and no one's going to take it away from me. Some day, I'll be respected in my village. That's my dream— to be the greatest Hokage!"
"Couldn't say it better myself, Naruto." M/n grinned, his eyes softening as he looked at the blonde ninja, admiration and pride evident in his eyes. That's my best friend.
"It was not my desire to be a Shinobi. It's painful." Haku truthfully said, his voice soft like a feather on your skin. "I don't want to kill you. But if you advance, I will have no choice. Then I will kill the kindness in my own heart and fully embrace the Shinobi way. And there will be no mercy— no turning back. This bridge will be the battlefield where our dreams collide. Now I must fight for my dream just as you fight for yours. Please do not blame me. I fight for someone who is precious to me. I live for him, and I face death for him so that his dream may become reality. That is my dream."
