Upon arriving at the correct room, they noticed Kakashi standing in front of the entrance as if he was waiting for them to show up.
"Glad you came, Sakura, for your sake, and the others." Kakashi said, confusing his students. "Now, before you step foot inside the room, there's something I must tell you."
"And that is?" M/n asked, stepping in front of the others.
"Other villages that came for the exams found out that there is a team of four members, aka Team 7. Usually only groups of three are allowed to apply for, and take the exam, but they made this time an exception. This may cause you a bit of trouble if the others target you and try to eliminate you."
"Well, too bad for them because they'll get their butts kicked by us!" M/n claimed, causing Naruto to agree.
"Yeah! Believe it!"
Kakashi hummed amused. "I guess I worried for nothing. Now, you can all formally register for the Chunin Exam. You're all here, and for the right reasons. Sakura.. Naruto.. M/n.. and Sasuke. I'm proud of you. I couldn't ask for a better team."
The Genin all smiled as Kakashi stepped aside to reveal the doors that awaited them.
"Good luck."
"You can count on us, sensei." M/n smirked, waving at the grey-haired Jonin as him and the others walked inside the room. The doors closing behind them with a sharp, echoing bang.
As soon as they were in the room, they got nervous, seeing the classroom filled with Genin from other villages. They all looked ruthless, staring at them four with challenging eyes.
"Wh— what's this?"
"Gee, I guess we're not alone."
"They're staring at us like they wanna kill us." M/n muttered, flinching when he made eye contact with a random bald guy with tattoos. 'Scary.'
"Sasuke, M/n, where have you two been?" A soft, high pitched voice intervened in the middle of them. Arms had been wrapped around M/n and Sasuke's necks, bringing them together into a hug.
Ino giggled with flushed cheeks. "Boy, you have no idea how much I was hoping you guys would show up here. I've missed those brooding good looks of yours."
'Brooding?' M/n snorted at her weird description of them while Sasuke had an annoyed look, side-eyeing the girl.
Sakura's expression changed into an angry look. A tick mark appeared on her forehead and pointed at Ino. "Hey, you porker! Back off! They're mine!"
