Going home wasn't something Hinata could do.

At least not yet.

So many thoughts swirled in her brain, rushing in at lightning speed, causing her pulse to beat erratically. The words "we found something" wasn't what Hinata wanted to hear today, but all along she knew, this something would arise.

What happened two years ago, couldn't happen again. Not the fainting, the crying, the separation, the stress, the heartache- none of it. As she drove across the city and back to her fathers house, a pounding headache tore her senses in half. Causing her to curl into the couch because of the pain. After the pain came a tear, which led to a straight sob. Fear shot at her like daggers, poisoning her blood stream, causing a shake so violent throughout her body Hinata swore she might even have a heart attack. Those months spent in the hospital, when her eyes would strain watching her father's heart monitor like a hawk out of pure fright it would stop surfaced forward with a swing.

Defeat won as the panic attack swallowed her whole. Four words repeated in her mind.

I can't do this.

Out of all of her most horrible life memories, Hinata refused to relive that one. That fated day two Augusts ago when Neji told her Hiashi was in the hospital with cancer, when she came back to Konoha feeling dead inside, where she was forced to take care of a household and a career that was't hers, and worry until her brain felt like it would explode. As her breaths shortned and tears soaked her face, Hinata closed her eyes and tried to hold onto anything she could. Any mental life raft that would end this horrible attack on anxiety consuming her. She just needed something, anthing to calm her down.

Some seconds later, her phone rang.

Being an inch within reach, Hinata grabbed it, watching the caller ID with a growing hesitancy to pick up until she finally did.
