Naruto stared at the second bedroom on the top floor of their penthouse with excitement. It was bare. Completely white, nothing but light wooden floors. Anticipation made them shove whatever storage or miscellaneous items they had to the fourth room downstairs. Just as Naruto manifested, this room was going to be the one. However...

Hinata and Naruto didn't know what to expect when openly trying for a baby.

Magic had to be there. The perfect set of conditions and an unknown mystical flare all had to exist like it once did before. Neither one of them wanted to jinx it so they kept it to themselves. Hinata's biggest fear was another miscarriage. That feeling of emptiness, despair, shame. The way hope disappeared from her spirit as if her little baby wouldn't make it back to her ever again. She knew after sometime that if the miscarriage never happened she would've kept that baby, because she knew it was made from pure love.

Naruto and Hinata both felt that deep longing for him. What he would've looked like, his mannerisms, all of it. They also wondered if when pregnancy found them again, would it be a boy? Naruto was confident it would be although sometimes that's not the case. One night in bed while caressing Hinata's face softly he said, "I think he'll come back for us."

"You think so?"

"I know so."

Hinata giggled, "And how is that my love?"

As if he was so sure, like he was writing it into law, Naruto replied, "Because we're ready now. And there's nothing we can't do when we're together."

Although they were on top of each other like animals in a serious season of heat, they knew not to apply so much pressure. Their little baby boy was going to come when he was ready. Once the birth control fully wore off, muscles were relaxed and at ease, and the timing was divine.

This time, Hinata would get to feel everything, and the first symptoms started just a few weeks before her wedding.

On the way to pick up Naruto's suit, Hinatas first symptom sneakily made its way into their day. From the morning she felt off, tired, but kept pushing it off to the side even though any minute now she felt as though she could fall right back asleep. Naruto reached his arm over the console to grab her hand within his, pouting at her sleepy expression, " Are you sure you slept enough baby?"

Hinata sighed then nodded, " Yup," a frown arose as another yawn over took, "I don't know maybe it's just wedding stress." It wasn't a far off idea, the final details to one extravagant weekend burdened them with task after task. Especially since the wedding was out of town. In an effort to help, they stopped for a quick latte before entering the men's department store, but as she slowly sipped her drink, watching the tailor and his assistant speak to Naruto just a few feet away, suddenly they became a bit blurry in her vision.

From Naruto's whiskered cheeks, the marks on his Rolex down to the laces of his shoes, Hinata's vision further blurred and no rapid amount of blinking helped. Her stance faltered, and what garnered the attention of Naruto and the workers was the sound of Hinata's cup falling to the ground, tan liquid spilling out.

"Hinata," Naruto took a step towards her, confused at the sight, "What's -"

"Naru I t-think something's wrong." Dizziness came next, making Hinata's body rock a slow back and forth, leading her to place her hand on a white pillar with a mirror attached to it. Naruto moved closer, grabbing her other hand,

"What do you mean?"

Each time she blinked, all of the conjoined images began to lag, and the lack of color was coming for her final moments, leading her to surely say, "I'm gonna faint."
