𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄: Naruhina

𝟑𝟏. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐀𝐢𝐫

Lavender puppy eyes, arms across her chest, a pout on her full lips had Naruto covering a laugh with his mouth as Hinata whined, "You're sending me away."

"No Button, I'm giving you a break."

Like an upset five year old Hinata flared her nostrils and stared her fiancé down... or up because he was so much taller than her. "This isn't fair Naru! You don't have to do this I can be here we can-"

"Uh uh uh. You my dear have exams this week and have already suffered two headaches. Which means you're getting stressed again." Naruto closed the distance between them standing in the middle of his kitchen, hands caressing her soft cheeks. He lowered his voice to a soothing deep tone, "We're a team princess. And we can only be a good team when we're both feeling our best." Hinata sighed, knowing he was absolutely right but she didn't want to admit it. Letting her man help her with this part of life wasn't easy, but Hinata couldn't deny the relief she's felt the past few days knowing Naruto was taking tasks off of her shoulders and completing them to standard.

Still, this was going to take some getting used to. Hinata placed her cheek into his chest and wrapped her arms around his waist. Loving the care his hold and intentions gave her. It filled Hinata with so much gratitude. "I don't think I knew how to use my lungs before you" she mumbled in his chest. Naruto gently motioned her face to look up at him, needing her to finish that sentence, "What are you talking about?"

With her chin on his sternum and a one little emotional tear of thankfulness leaving her tear duck Hinata explained, "Remember in the elevator? You told me to just breathe. Ever since then you're the only reason I'm right here in one piece, breathing just fine."

Suddenly Naruto was at a loss for words hearing her sincerity. "I know I'm stubborn at times ..." Hinata's eyes quickly darted away before locking back onto his blue ones, "but learning to trust you like this is something I'll never take for granted. Thank you my love." Hinata fully reached up, swapping out their arms so now hers were wrapped around his neck while her chin rested on his shoulder, a sigh of grateful relief escaped. In her hold Naruto closed his eyes, relishing this quiet morning moment of love between them.

In order to complete the next phase of working together Naruto purchased a two day spa getaway for Hinata and Hanabi. So much had happened in the past few days and now that Naruto was fully involved in all of his woman's' affairs there were certain aspects he noticed needed tweaking. So in order to get that done and not freak Hinata out- sending her to get some well deserved rest was the plan.

He knew at first she wouldn't be up for it but as he stated previously- Hinata really was getting headaches and with midterms around the corner she needed to get her head on straight. Out of sight out of mind was what she needed to become and what better way to do that than by going to the spa?

Releasing from the hug Naruto tipped her chin up while planting soft smooches over her skin, "You can't give me all the credit, Button." His face dipped lower, planting kisses on her chin, alongside her jaw, until he finally reached her neck and inhaled her sweet perfume. Hinata hummed, "I can give you some."

"What if I don't want any?" His hands gently reached down and soft gripped her behind, another set of cheeks easily accessible through the thin fabric of her yoga pants. Hinata blushed at his deep timbre, "Well then what would you like if not my most profound admiration?"

Naruto's hand crossed over her stomach as he whispered, "Something else."

Time froze momentarily as their eyes locked in shared understanding. Naruto kept his hand right on her abdomen, slowly caressing while her cheeks continued to redden. Right now was not the most opportune time for this conversation, but Naruto couldn't hide his most recent thoughts. Hinata recognized that look in his dashing blue eyes, it was calling out to her, non verbally expressing a want and a need so deep it made her soul dance.
