"Wait here with your sister, let me get you something to eat before we go". My mom said as we got to the school's car park.

"Yes mum". I and my sister replied.

Then she left.

"So do you want to come to this school?". My sister asked me as we waited.

"No, I haven't decided yet".

"You know I'm waiting for you to make a decision right? Because we have to go to the same school". She said.

"Yeah, I know, I'm just looking for the best". I lied, still not acknowledging my fears.

"Are you scared that what happened to you at your former school will happen again?". She asked put of the blue.

I looked at her. I was shocked because I never particulary discussed the topic with her before. But I was already used to this. She never failed
to wow me with her questions.

"Well, partly".

"You know I believe in you right?". She said.

I looked at her affectionately.

"You do?".

She looked away.

"Well, I still think you're lame, but I actually do trust you".

"Thank you, Dara". I said, choosing not to acknowledge the other part of the statement.

"You know what? I think I like this school, plus they have a really cool chapel, I saw it on our way in, wanna check it out?".

"Yeah!". I replied.

We skipped happily into the chapel and took in all the beauty. The chairs, pulpit and metal crosses on the pulpit, my sister made sure she touched every one of them.

I saw a big piano nearby and opened it up. I had never seen a piano as huge as it before. It felt like I was touching a priceless possession, a timeless piece.

"Wanna play?". My sister walked up to me and asked.

"Yes". I said smiling.

It started to rain as we were still  gallivanting around in the chapel and we realised our mum must be looking for us.

With our hands over our head to shield us from the rain, we ran out of the Chapel into the heavy shower, laughing and giggling happily.

"Mum! Mum!". I yelled when we finally found her.

"Oh, my". She said in relief. She had really been looking for us.

"Where have you been?". She asked, putting her umbrella over our heads.

"Mum, I want to attend this school". I said, smiling sheepishly.

"Really?".

"Yes. I finally found a reason to stay".

   **********************************

I wiped a tear from my eye. I really missed my sister.

I had worked so hard to get everything I wanted, but the one who inspired me was not here. Now, the exam I had been looking forward to and ths exam that could determine everything was here and I had lost all hope and all motivation.

I couldn't even comprehend a word the geography teacher was saying to the class even though she was right in front of me. Her words turned into blurs, swirling around me and I blanked them all out.

"Good day class, see you all in the exam hall". She said before taking her lesson note and leaving.

I sighed.
What a day.
