Heard another knock on the door but it wasn't from my friends anymore.
"Please open the door" said the voice.
The voice pleaded. I didn't answer.
"I know your in there." I still didn't talk.
"I will tell you something, the reason why did I say that." he said.
I want to hear the reason so I opened the door. I let him sit on the couch and I asked him why.
"Honestly, I like you Anne but there's someone who I really love ever since." I was shock. I felt I was hit by a truck on my face.
"Who?" i asked softly. I controlled my tears.
"My best friend, the time I accidentally bumped you in Georgetown was because I was in a hurry to look for my best friend, I heard she went home"
What he said couldn't process in my mind.
"Brett?" I said without thinking.
"Mercy? Is that you?" he hug me right away. I was now crying.
"My phone fell into the pool and I can't find you on the internet." I said while sobbing
I can't believe it. He's my best friend, Brett.
" Oh! So that's why, I miss you Ann-Mercy! Why did you change your name?"
"I didn't. Valerie started calling me Anne so they all followed her."
"Oh! I changed my name so that you will be the only one who calls me Brett." he explained his side.
