- | 🪼 | -՞ "I'LL BE IN HERE, DON'T STRESS TOO MUCH."
sukuna said to noemi, slumping into the drivers seat as he watched her open the car door. "i knowww. thanksss." she said, blowing him a kiss as she slid out the car. aeropostale sweatpants hung low on her wide hips, the girl combing through the 28 inch bundles gently with her fingers. her top was a regular short sleeved shirt, the fabric clinging to her torso.
he hummed, giving her a wave as he watched her shut the car door and begin her walk towards the park.
and why were they at the park?
well, because noemi decided to just let naoya know that she didn't want him anymore now.
sukuna was in the car in case he had to whoop ass, but noemi didn't really think naoya would lay his hands on her. he was a lot of things, probably a woman beater too, but its noemi they're talking about. he flips out when she even has a mosquito bite.
"yo." noemi called to naoya, her head tilting. she watched as his head turned, the man sitting on the bench with his arm resting on the top. "let's talk." naoya simply said.
"...let's talk." noemi repeated, sitting next to him, not too close though. never know what that nigga was about to pull out his ass, not gonna lie.
"you're with him?" he asked lowly, not even looking at her. it made his heart ache knowing that she wasn't his anymore. he knew from the start sukuna was a problem, but maybe he should've paid more attention instead of swearing up and down noemi didn't have the ability to leave him.
noemi just huffed, kicking her feet. she glanced at him before looking ahead, tucking her hair behind her ears. "yeah." she responded, her lips pressing together after. she was starting to feel bad, after all sukuna had been warning her about naoya's behavior all this time, yet to this day he was still treating her so nicely, keeping up his facade.
it made her feel like he was genuine.
not like it mattered now.
"since?"
"we confirmed it more seriously yesterday, but even since the other day when you guys argued on that call and a bit before that, we were... y'know."
it was silent for a while, the only sound being the wind and the low padding of feet on the sidewalk and children playing. a few birds chirped atop trees, making it less awkward.
"makes sense." was all he said, his hand dragging over his face slowly. "i knew it'd come eventually, i just didn't think so quick."
"mmm.." noemi hummed, standing back up. "well, that's all. 'm gonna go, and just to let you know, i don't hate you or anything. i just think we're better off as friends." she explained while rubbing the back of her neck, her foot crossing over the other as she stood there.
