- | 🪼 | -՞ TATIANA'S head turned from the pillow her face was buried into, her eyes locking onto the door as she heard the knob jiggle. she'd been sulking for probably 2 days now, going back and forth between "i hate him" and "i don't care anymore."
clearly she's just settled on she hates him.
to make matters worse, she's laying on toji's couch with megumi sitting on her ass, watching spongebob on the tv.
when the door opened, it was just toji, no shit. he had a bag of food in his hand, shutting the door behind him with his other hand that still held onto his keys.
he chuckled at the way she just let megumi do whatever as long as she could lay there, it was pitiful but funny at the same time.
"you gotta let this shit go. and megumi, get off your aunt, don't you see she's going through it?" toji asked as he set the bag of chinese takeout on the table then hung up his key on the wall.
the 6 year old just rolled his eyes, sliding off tatiana and sitting on the other side of the couch. "she's been sulking for 20 years, i think her last worry is me sitting on her ass." he grumbled, side eyeing his father.
"you're a bad ass kid, y'know that?" tatiana said as she sat up, sighing. she wrapped her blanket around her shoulders, glancing over at megumi. "pull up your grades, let's see if you should be allowed to say ass without me slapping you upside that fat head." she added.
"i don't like you."
"and i don't like your bum ass daddy, but i'm not complaining and still came to babysit your ass." tatiana stuck her tongue out at him, her brows furrowed.
"that's why your man left you." megumi grumbled, sticking his tongue out back at her.
"and your dad left you, so you worried bout the wrong damn thing." tatiana groaned, slumping into her seat.
toji dragged his hand over his face, glancing between the two. "i'm right here." he countered, his hands going up by his head as if he was surrendering.
"but were you right there the first two years of his life?"
"...nah."
"she kinda clocked you dad."
toji just sucked his teeth. "come get y'all food. and you, we need to talk, you can't keep sulking here, you're cock-blocking me." he said as he took the boxes of food out the plastic bag.
"can't cock-block when there's nobody to block." tatiana responded as her and megumi walked towards the kitchen counter.
"clock it." megumi added as he hopped up onto the island chair, swinging his feet with a smirk.
"this is a grown up conversation." toji pointed at the little boy.
"my food—" megumi protested.
"i'll bring it to your room, now scat." toji waved off the boy, his brows furrowed. megumi just rolled his eyes, hopping down the chair and walking down the hall to his room.
"anyways, i don't know why you're so upset about this, we knew it was coming." toji told tatiana as he began making megumi's plate. he was concerned, but at the same time didn't want to show too much mercy for something he's warned her about multiple times.
"i'm not even sulking over him anymore, i'm thinking about what his girlfriend said." tatiana groaned, her hands pushing through her knotless braids as she flung them to one side of her head.
"like i really have no self respect and it sucks to realize that." she mumbled, her feet swinging back and forth as she stared at the counter. "i always pick up shitty guys thinking i can change them, but then make shitty decisions that's just gonna make me like every other girl he had."
"noemi cussed you out?" toji chuckled, his brows raised in surprise. "aw... coulda swore i told her to go easy on you." he recalled. well maybe telling noemi that tatiana was a good person behind all this stuff with sukuna wasn't the best way to imply she should go easy on her.
"well she didn't, you prick." tatiana bucked at him, her brows furrowed.
"my bad." toji said. he picked up megumi's little plate, stepping away from tatiana for a second to go hand megumi his food.
meanwhile tatiana sat there, still contemplating what she'd do now. of course she'd just finish school, exams are in about a month or so then she can finally chill out.
but maybe she'd just have to take a break from her shitty ass love-life. or fuck-life, whatever, either or, she needed to leave these men alone.
toji came back to the kitchen, hands in his pockets as he got closer to her. she was zoned out, didn't notice he had came back which made him smirk.
he pressed his chin on her shoulder, "whatchu thinkin' 'bout?" he asked. in response, tatiana jerked, her head turning to look at toji with an annoyed look. "how i'm gonna shove my foot up your ass, that's what." she threatened.
"i'm being for real." toji huffed, pulling a chair out to sit by her. "what's going through that pretty head, hm?"
"stop sweet talking me." tatiana mumbled, flicking him off to which she only received a smile for. she shifted uncomfortably in her seat, her hands playing with her braids. "i'ma take a break from relationship stuff. just finish college and go on about my life, and hopefully i'll find someone who actually wants me."
toji hummed, his head tilting. "well, instead of trying to find these guys, let them flock to you." he suggested, his brow raising. "you turned down hella guys over the last few months of you and sukuna's situation, even the years before that when you two were just friends, you never committed to a relationship with someone who actually came to you and wanted you."
"maybe if you just let someone come to you againnnn... then you'll end up finding someone that will give you what you want. or need, some shit like that."
"you're an inspirational asshole." tatiana commented, her lips pressing together as she looked away from him. "guess you're right though."
"i know i am."
"oh fuck you."
she couldn't help but smile at her close friend before sliding out the chair. "gumi aunty's sorry and she misses youuu." she yelled down the hall as she jogged to his room.
toji let out a laugh at the sound of megumi groaning and probably trying to wriggle out his aunt's hug.
"you're annoying, you aren't even my real aunt!"
"if your mommy heard you say that she'd put a belt to your ass, now hug your God mom or say BYE to that ps5!"
"oh brother..." toji mumbled. mostly because that was his ps5 too, why buy one when his friend bought his son one for christmas?
who is he kidding, he's just broke and won't buy one.
iyana ! / author note ! spouted this out bc i want ppl to realize that tatiana may be a villain in noemi's story, but in tatiana's story, noemi is both a villain & hero bc she stole her man yet made her realize her worth and she shouldn't be with a man who don't want her!!
& i love tatiana and might have a book w her bc she really is that girl despite sukuna's manipulation that paints her as a dummy bitch </3
