❝ why do you like to fucking argue so much? ❞ - ryomen sukuna
❝ why are you so fucking easy to start an argument with? ❞ - noemi hughes

- | 🪼 | -՞ NOEMI opened the door to the familiar apartment, her lips pressing together. she examined the shared space, the place messy as fuck. she couldn't tell if sukuna had gone on a rampage while she was gone, or if he was just too unmotivated to clean up after himself since she left.
she saw his car in the garage, she knew he was home, but she didn't know where. wasn't in the kitchen, the living room, or even his own room.
as she walked down the hall and turned to knob on her door, she set down her 'spend-the-night' bag on her dresser before turning to her bed.
oh, there he was.
knocked out, curled up in her sheets with the side of his face pressed into her pillow. he looked so peaceful while sleeping, contrasting the scowl he always had on his face, or the big ass grin.
no expression, just calm.
something foreign to him when he was awake.
noemi's hand reached out, resting on his cheek. her thumb rubbed small circles on his cheek, her body moving to then slide into the bed in front of him. slipping under the sheets, she shimmied close to sukuna, his arms instinctively coming to wrap around her and hold her closer.
a sudden deep inhale and exhale exited his nose, the males head nuzzling into the crook of her neck.
"are you fake sleeping?" noemi asked him, a bit of amusement in her voice. "uh-uh, jus' resting my eyes and you happened to pop in." sukuna mumbled, his deep voice scratchy.
"you said you wanted to talk." she reminded him, her hands moving to comb through his hair slowly. she didn't know why she brung it up, maybe she was panicking a bit.
he could tell by the way her heart was beating so quick that she was nervous.
"just sleep and be quiet, don't worry about that right now. we can talk about that in the car on the way to campus like you wanted." sukuna grumbled, his hands starting to rub up and down her back. "jus' happy you're home."
"...it's embarrassing when you say stuff like that." "would you rather me be mean?" "i mean— kinda. but i like when you're nice too."
sukuna let out a small chuckle at her response, the sound vibrating through her body. "you'd rather me be mean but you like when 'm nice too?" he asked. "pick one."
"i want you to be nice right now, but then when we figure this all out you can be mean again."
"because i like the mean side of you."
sukuna's breath hitched at her words, his head tilting up to look at noemi. her eyes were closed, the corners of her lips forming a smile.
"but you're really fucking annoying. like when you told me to make you breakfast because i'm a girl, i wanted to kill you." noemi started giggling, her hands suddenly tugging on his hair.
